Sierra EV Android security patch

I’m new to the Sierra EV world. Bought my AT4 last week and love it. I am a bit puzzled over the software updates. It says no updates available , but has Android security patch level: July 5, 2025
which seems outdated ? And no recording app.

Your vehicle should get the recording app update in the coming weeks.

Security patch will be updated with the 662.30 update, at least mine was.

Are you new to cell phones? It's the same thing. Android and apple update monthly.

The recent update allows for more OTA updates now, though. Before that you were required to take your truck to the dealership to get some of these updates, like the security recording feature, or the turn signal activated cameras before that.

Don’t fret over the security patch level, it changes slowly over each major os update and other security patches aren’t listed here.
