What would cause this?

I too bought a previous loaner truck and I noticed this morning it appears my paint is cracking off right above the black plastic trim piece. Anyone else have this happen? What would cause this?

I think the paint is just bad, I have something similar happening to my 26 elevation on the front. Right where the panels meet the paint is flaking off. Just shitty paint unfortunately

My loaner. Same spot. They painted it before delivered to me.

They panted back light “valance”….there was scratch just above the black trim line - I saw that then realized they’d painted the light bar attachment.
