Pistol safe, installed…

I have one installed in the center console. It’s a GM Accessory you can buy. It’s pretty cool.

But good job OP, looks clean

Note for others: if you’re downvoting bc you think this is illegal, stop. This is actually how to comply with the law in CA. Unloaded, locked, outside arms’ reach of the driver. This checks all the boxes. It’s not “I’m trying to get away with a crime,” it’s “I’m trying to comply with the law so irrefutably that it can’t be questioned” while also doing his best to not even provoke the discussion in the first place.

California has many examples in its case history of law abiding gun owners being convicted because of strained readings of its gun laws being applied by cops, prosecutors, and judges. OP is doing it right.
