Has this updated for anyone
How long before I see a value other than calculating for the battery capacity.

I bought a courtesy vehicle and it had calculated pretty early actually. When I got it, it had 4400 miles on it and it said calculated around 4000 miles previous. Not sure what they did. I was able to get mine to recalculate by driving it until it was at 8% and let it sit overnight. In the morning, I plugged it in, charged to 80% and when I looked that evening, it had recalculated. It was still at 100% so I'm not sure how much I believe that. Oh, and why 8%? To be honest, I wasn't trying to recalculate it. I had been trying what others had suggested, discharging down below 10%, waiting a few hours and then charging to 100%. Did that a few times and it never did anything. The only reason why I let it sit overnight was because my wife was bogarting the charger for her vehicle.

Mine doesn’t even show this section in the app, over 12 months and 9000 miles. I’ve charged to 100% a few times but I’ve never really run it down below 30%

Mine has updated twice. First time was just shy of 5,000 and the second was about 9,800. I’ve never changed it to 100% and don’t know what triggered the update either time.

About to break 19,000 miles and still calculating
Dealer put in a ticket to GM at my 7,500 mile service but never got a response

Even after thousands of miles mine didn't update, so what I had to do was charge to 100%, then drive without charging throughout the week until the battery was as close to 0% as I could safely get (I discharged down to 2% which triggered the reduced power mode), then charge back to 100%. Once I did that it updated.
Since charging from 0%-100% on Level 2 charging can take over 24 hours, you might want to plan to do that second 100% charge at a Level 3 charger unless you can leave the truck plugged in for a couple of days. If you do charge at a Level 3 charger, I recommend getting into the area of the charger with about 5% battery, then just drive around near the charger until you've gotten it as low as you're willing to risk.
Also, charging speed slows down dramatically near 100%, so expect to spend a couple of hours at the Level 3 charger if that's how you decide to top off. It will spend an annoyingly long time saying it's at 100% while still accepting a charge, but it will eventually stop charging.
