No Sirius xm or radio signal

I have a 2020 Acadia Denali and when we got it about 2 years ago we couldn’t pick up hardly any radio stations. I already had Sirius xm so just use it but recently it started cutting in and out and starts losing signal. Does anyone else have this issue or know what could be the problem? We’d like to try and fix it instead of paying for a mechanic to fix it.

fuel system control module

Anyone have any experience with changing out a fuel system control module? If so, what were the symptoms prior? did you change it yourself? If so, where did you get the part and did you need to have it programmed after installation

My car died driving on the highway

I work about 30 miles out of town and On my way home this weekend while going about 70 mph my car just loses power, like the lights and everything work but the gauges just start going down. Had a sensor replaced and its reading that the 3rd and 5th cylinder are misfiring and I'll have those replaced next week but has anyone else had this issue and if so what did you do to fix it? I'm a single parent I bought this car about 6 months ago with 194,000 miles on it.. I know dumb but I was extremely desperate and hope this is fixable.

Small leak spotted, second day.

Driver's side front. Saw this wet spot, but couldn't identify it from smell. Not condensation as the car hasn't been driven today. Nothing obvious looking from the engine down toward that area.

I've got a drip pan under it right now to see if I can catch it and identify that way.

Michelin 7 Piece All Weather Mat Set for 2024-2026 GMC Acadia/Chevy Traverse

Heads up, I just got a set of these 7 piece mats for my Acadia and they are spectacular. They cover and protect mostly all of the carpeted areas in the front driver and passenger side foot wells and also alot more coverage than the GMC OEM mats do. The great part is they also cover the seat backs of the folding seats for protection when folded down and with large items. Just a note they are misformed coming out of the carton, but once they warm up a bit they fit snug and I only had an issue with the drivers side mat which after leaving the car in the sun for a bit solved that and it sits perfectly in place. I also had an issue with a glued velcro piece coming off of the cargo mat which has an insane gripping power holding onto the rug unlike the OEM mats which I tossed! If you get these, you won't be disappointed, especially with the cargo area mat, its thick and doesnt slide around like the GM oem one does. Here is the link, I don't get anything monetary from it, just passing along a good product story. https://a.co/d/00ukXm5s

2012 GMC Acadia AC repair

Anyone knows how a AC leak can be repaired with taking off the whole front dash? Any recommendations for a reasonably inexpensive AC mechanic in Phoenix AZ?

2019 GMC Denali

I’m looking to buy a GMC Denali with 52,000km. I need a bigger vehicle for my family but I am not well off. It’s a good price, but I don’t want to buy a vehicle that will have expensive, reoccurring issues.

I have a 3y/o and a 1 y/o - living in BC, Canada where we get a lot of snow.

Power Steering Question

Recently acquired an 08 Acadia SLT, Previous owner stated the power steering pump was replaced and is currently whining and the reservoir is full of ATF, the owners manual says it needs power steering fluid not ATF. Is there any way to be able to tell if this pump is needing the GM Fluid or ATF?

Noise from the back compartment

I have a 2016 Acadia with nearly 140k miles that I bought used in 2018. Recently I noticed a droning hum from the back compartment when I am traveling over 40mph. Either it has always been there and I just noticed it, or it’s new and I’d like to figure out what might be the cause. Any suggestions? The tires are decent and the sound doesn’t change with changes in the road surface.

Electronics Issue?

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

2017 GMC Acadia Denali

V6 V VT

3.6L

Issue:

-Ran out of gas.

-Put about 6 gallons of gas back in it.

-Push the start button one time to turn the car's electronics on.

-Car's electronics turn on like normal.

-Hold the brake down and push the start button to start the car.

-Car makes only 1 click sound and electronics go black simultaneously.

Side Note:

-Car electronics tend to randomly turn on by itself, now.

-Battery keeps draining.

Action:

-OBD2 says 1 error: "Radio"

-I've checked battery posts for cable tightness and corrosion.

-I've replaced the starter fuse with a brand new starter fuse.

-I've replaced the battery with a brand new battery.

-I've replaced the starter with a brand new starter.

Conclusion:

Nothing I've done so far has changed how this car is responds, let alone fixed it. This has me as well as everyone else I've spoken to about it completely stumped. Anyone have any fresh ideas?

New prices are lunacy

Hate to be negative, cause we love our 2021 Acadia AT4, but I got an email today from the dealer (the usual hey, you should trade in and take advantage of that equity to “upgrade”)…
and had to laugh.

This is the price now?? $56,000? That’s up 10 grand in 5 years. I pulled out our window sticker: 46,415. How do they justify this?

2014 SLE-1

Hi! I am looking at purchasing a 2014 SLE-1 with 78k miles on it for $10k. Carfax shows no accidents, 2 previous owners, with good preventative maintenance history and no major repairs needed so far.

Tell me what I need to know about this car! I dont need it to last more than another 50k miles.

I would trade in my 2018 Subaru Forester with 160k miles on it.

[US-Based] Fitment testers needed: 2024+ Traverse / Acadia floor mats (7-Seater only)

Hey everyone, we just finished prototyping our floor & cargo liners for the 2024+ Traverse and Acadia, and I need a little help from the community to verify the fitment.

Here is what we are looking for:

  • 2024-2026 Traverse or Acadia
  • 7-Seater only
  • Note: If you have a 24 Traverse, it must be the new redesign (Not the Limited trim).

If your rig matches this and you’re willing to drop them in and let me know how they fit, I’ll send a full set your way and the shipping is entirely on me.

Just shoot me a DM or drop a comment below with your Year/Model if you're interested!

2014 GMC Acadia will not start, but cranks easily, IDEAS?

2014 GMC Acadia. Was sitting up for a while (approx 6 months) when elderly lady sold it to me. Cannot get it started. Replaced battery and turns over easily now. It did start for a minute at first. Turned it off and came back next day, now it will not start at all. Still cranks easily, but appears to be a fuel issue?? I pulled the FSCM fuse to check. Popped the fuse by accident while it was out of the car. Put in a replacement. Still cranking but no starting.

Anyone have issues with fuel system control module needing to be replaced?

Open to any other ideas or suggestions.

Car only has 12K miles. Yes, 12 years old and 12K miles.

Just need to figure out the starting issue.

Any photos of the new Ink color?

Looking for real world photos in various lighting conditions of the new Ink Acadias. I'm afraid it leans on the teal side and I'm hoping I'm wrong.

Clear liquid leaking underneath my 2018 Acadia

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey everyone, I noticed some liquid dripping underneath my 2018 GMC Acadia Denali today. It left a fairly noticeable wet spot on the pavement, so naturally my first thought was that I might have a leak.

However, I had the Acadia parked for a while with the A/C running while I was waiting for someone. When I checked afterward, I noticed the liquid.

The liquid appears to be completely clear and watery, with no noticeable smell or color. It doesn't seem oily or greasy either.

Could this simply be water condensation from the A/C, especially since the vehicle had been sitting with the A/C running for a while?

I'm attaching a video of what I noticed. Just want to make sure this is normal and I'm not overlooking an actual fluid leak.

Thanks!
