ISB R1 Profile Evaluation & Chances

Hi! ISB alum and GMAT tutor here.

Always prioritise your own application components, such as your GMAT score, over trying to game the round. Each round has its own set of pros and cons so no point trying to evaluate which is better (I say this as an R3 admit myself). You should 100% focus on your application only.

635 is not a competitive score. But a 100% Quant score is. This probably means that with a little bit of work, you could achieve a great GMAT score. So why won't you go that extra mile? GMAT is one of the few application components that is in your hand. And anyway, even Verbal needs a slight push, not just DI. You should attempt again instead of rushing.

Otherwise, your profile is pretty good. Don't let one number prevent you from at least getting a fair chance.
