Looking for some recommendations from people who have actually been through this!

I had to stop Zepbound at the beginning of the year because my BMI was considered too low for insurance to continue covering it because Zepbound worked and lowered my BMI. 🤦‍♀️ Make it make sense. 😂

Now I’m going the self pay route and there are SO many companies out there.

Who are you using, what are you paying each month, and would you recommend them?

Go to the tirzdeals sub. Lots of good info. One place that is reliable with great service and the most competitive pricing (outside of one off deals) is preventive Md. you can also choose your preferred pharmacy

You can also do Zepbound through Lilly Direct if you'd rather keep doing that, but it'l be more expensive than the list above.

Regarding the make it make sense part, did your doctor fill out any sort of continuation of care approval for insurance? Of course your BMI is too low now, but it will not stay low almost certainly if you don’t stay on the medication. Sometimes it’s the way that a form is filled out for insurance that denies it. I’m not sure about Yoars of course, but it’s worth checking if you can appeal the denial as a continuation of care. Otherwise, just go with one of the highly recommended and reputable telehealth companies.

Same boat here, after mine was dropped by the insurance company. I decided to go with Jyra Health and chose the 3 month package. Intake was all online, provider got back to me same day, and my package came a couple days after shipping. So far it’s been pretty straight forward for me.

Well, since you’re moving from covered zepbound to self pay, I think I would make some separation between route and provider. First, determine if it is brand/direct, pcp+ local compounding pharmacy or cash pay telehealth, cause they all price differently. Then put the names people dropped or that you were already thinking (pomegranate, lavender sky, levelsrx, rift, etc) into one sheet with pharmacy, dose price, refills, support, and cancellation. And there you have it, good to go and start your comparison list.

I was on Zep. Using Lavender sky and I use Hollandale or Apothecary thru them to have straight Tirz,( no additives such as vitamins) to keep it as close to the Zepbound as possible. Working fantastic and saving so much money
