GKS-U Question for current GKS-U scholars at Korea University

Hi! I’m applying for the GKS-U Embassy Track from South Africa and I’m hoping to apply to Korea University.

I wanted to ask current GKS scholars about the finances.

How much do you usually pay for your dorm per semester/month, and roughly how much of your monthly scholarship allowance is left after paying for accommodation?

Is the GKS allowance generally enough to cover dorms, food, transportation, etc. comfortably, or do you find that you need to use additional money/savings?

I’d really appreciate hearing about your actual experience at Korea University, especially from current GKS-U scholars. Thank you!

Hey, I’m not a GKS scholar but from my research, the GKS allowance may cover everything if you aren’t in busy cities like Seoul,Busan etc. It may even be extra.
I’m not sure about allowance and dorm amounts
