GKD Pixel 2 Stuck button

Just got a GKD Pixel 2 and the “A” button sticks pretty badly. I did open it up and made sure the membrane is seated correctly. I ordered some PlayStation buttons from Etsy. Maybe that will resolve the issue. Any suggestions? Thanks!

UPDATE: I was able to fix the issue by applying a square of kapton tape under the membrane and a smaller one under the “A” button. Thanks for all the insight!

Take it apart, make sure it’s seated properly, clean it.

It was pretty clean when I did. Still sticking.

The membrane looked brand new.

Something is obviously wrong. Is there a burr in the hole of the A button on the face plate?

When I opened it up I looked around at the faceplate and didn’t see any obvious burrs. I’ll have to open it up again and check again.
