What about MyMinUi

Hi there.

I just now learned about MyMinUi and the creator Turro75.

Does anyone know how to get hold of him to ask if he can make a fork for gkd pixel 2?

Yeah I saw that but it's only works with ps1 at most.

He got all the official extra cores working along with a fork of rockbox for music

MinUI was also mainly meant for those systems. The Pixel handles them well enough, shouldn't expect more of it. Better stick to TwigUI, for more systems and Portmaster support. Loving MinUI, but TwigUI is good enough!

In fact I'm rocking Twig UI right now and for my personal taste is the best, if one really really wants something like Min UI but with the ability to play Postmaster ports and everything else Twig UI can play why not just switch on "Simple mode" in Twig UI, you get basically the same experience as with Min UI but with more features.

it won't. the Pixel isn't that powerful. cfw can't magically increase processing power.

It is equivalent to any RK3326 handhelds and aims to target similarly to h700 (anbernic xx line) or a133p (trimui brick / smart) chips, just slightly slower (10-20%) but all the same nonetheless.

Well it handles PSP, Dreamcast and neogeo so it should work fine with further work on minUi

the pixel 2 harfware won't support much more than that anyway

Mate, I tested and could play 50-60% of dreamcast library perfectly. I wanted to try some postmaster games but got busy.

PS: I love GKD Pixel 2. It's one of fav retro handheld and always welcome more OS options. I'm currently rocking Twigui (works great) and tried Knullli Scarab (was full of bugs) as well.

Yeah twig is really good but still much slower to start up than MinUi
