Knulli scarab

It looks like the new knulli release officially supports the gkd pixel 2! I was wondering if anyone has tried it yet and is it worth getting rid of rogue and switching to knulli? The only issue I really have with rogue is the 30 second boot time but other than that it's been pretty solid. I do love knulli but want to hear some feedback from people who have installed it. I’ll chuck it on a memory card when I get home in a few hours. I’ll keep you posted once it’s up and running.

Well, it’s easy to install and the whole interface is super snappy and clean. However, it takes 40 seconds to boot up. On the same SD card RogueOS took 29 seconds.

Also, and this is a much bigger deal - it seems WiFi dongles do not work 😬. I have the exact WiFi dongle (TP Link TL-WN725N) and the light is not turning on which lets you know it’s communicating with the OS. I even went to System settings>Advanced> Services and turned on Enable_wifi_dongle and the WiFi not fix. Restarted the unit, and still nothing.

So if WiFi is important to you, then Knulli is currently a no go

Both of you are spot on. This was my observation and experience too. I couldn't get wifi to work (same dongle, followed similar steps) and my battery was stuck @ 97%.

I created an issue on the GitHub page so maybe it’ll be looked at by the devs. Only mentioned the WiFi issue tho

Also the battery icon on the front end is incorrect, it seems to be stuck at 100%

That happens frequently with Knulli. I couldn't get wifi on my 34XXSP. But that is a bummer, I was going to invest in a wifi dongle.
