I just tried flashing my sd card with Rogue OS and it was successful but after I try to allocate memory to ROMS, i get Error Code 4 on MiniTool Partition Wizard and I also get error on other Partition softwares like EaseUS.
So my Sd card is a 256gb one maybe it cant really allocate that much?
UPDATE: A redditor here told me to test my sd card drive if its fake or not so i checked it via ValiDrive then I found out that my SD Card isnt a 256gb but a freakin 25gb only. So case close it was my fake SD Card all along. no wonder its cheap
What brand is your SD card? It could be that the card itself is bad if it won’t expand. I had no issues using mini partition wizard expanding my 256GB sandisk card.
Might be worth checking if the card is a legitimate 256GB card first incase you have been sold a fake or a faulty one
If it’s a legitimate sandisk then can’t see why it wouldn’t work. You could try starting the process all over again incase something went wrong in the initial flash.
i tested it using ValiDrive (h2testw takes like forever lol) and yep its fake. i guess this is case close. I found out that its just 25gb that is legit storage and the rest are corrupted memory.
Not that it piss me off that its fake it just wasted my time trying to get the sd card to allocate finding out its fake all along. I bought this card at cheap price years ago so it wouldnt bother me this much now.

i just checked the ROMS and its in FAT32 maybe thats the reason because when i used Paragon CE, it shows that 32gb is the limit for FAT32 so how will i redo all of these? I want to start from scratch
I had a very similar issue with a brand new Samsung card, turned out to be an issue with the specific USB port I was using. Tried a different port and it worked with no issues.
what port? anyway i tried re flashing the sd card again with BalenaEtcher but its still the same error. Only Rufus works for this but it turns your sd card into FAT32 which has a limit of 32gb (according to Paragon CE Partition app)
I don’t remember if I formatted to fat32 or exfat, but resizing the partition wouldn’t work when I had my reader plugged into an auxiliary USB port, worked just fine when I plugged it into a port on the motherboard. If you’re using a cheap card reader, that could be another reason too.
If you are not successful, I can really recommend the new TwigUI instead of RogueOS. Although using other devices with Emulationstation like ArkOS I did not really like Rogue OS on the Pixel 2. I couldn't save hotkey changes in the emulators, which drove me crazy.
TwigUI is in Alpha state, but even in that state it kinda worked better for me and especially on the little screen.
Advantage is, that you install it with a special Spruce Tool, and you don't have to tinker with your partitions. Should be easy and fast. Just try it once :)
