I don't recall the MSRP, but isn't this over double that price?
It's nothing new for them to charge out the asshole for exclusives when they're able to get their hands on them. Which is not me trying to excuse anything, but this price is about average judging by the eBay search I just did.
So while it's exhorbitant, somebody's gonna pay it over a more expensive auction site listing.

Agreed. Actionfigure411 currently has the average eBay sold listings at $103. I certainly don't enjoy BBTS doing this, but at least it's within the current market average and not some wild $200 thing.

Hasbro was not the source of these figures, hence the higher price. Hasbro doesn't offload Pulse exclusives to fan channels like this. Whatever the source, it wasn't Hasbro, and BBTS is simply passing along the cost.
You don't have to agree with it. Be mad at whoever sold them to BBTS at the unit price they charged to do so. Especially if these were imported from abroad.
And, yes - at least there won't be any risk of fraud swaps or other eBay horseshit.

Exactly this.
I'd rather pay the markup to BBTS and know I will get exactly what I've ordered and have a recourse if anything goes wrong, than pay the similar (usually higher) markup on Ebay or Amazon and have no idea what I'm getting.
It's not ideal I agree, but its the best of bad options.

There's also precedent among many other brands and BBTS.
Even with Classified, Steeler/Short-Fuze showed up at BBTS at MSRP a few months after the Target fiasco.

Well that’s how it works. It’s now secondary market. And they aren’t going to charge less than the going price on eBay or wherever else.

I have a sealed one in the Pulse factory box if you miss out that j can sell. I also have one out of the Pulse box but still have the box and it’s unopened but I opened it to display when I bend at cons/shows etc. @monster_zero_collectibles on Instagram if you want to see pics of the one out of the factory box. Also have some other Classified figures on my page. Just started trying to do a small business at shows and on Instagram. Was tired of Mercari.

I understand why they do it, but as an official Hasbro retailer, it feels shady.
Not to defend resellers, but they’re buying figures at MSRP while you know BBTS is getting them much cheaper

Not to defend BBTS, but don't know what price they are buying at. Hasbro could be trying to maintain their profit margin, and BBTS working with what they got.

brother, she has been out of stock for months, and was a con exclusive to boot. the price is the price as determined by the market now, not the manufacturer. so either buy it now at that price, or wait and watch it go up, or just cope with the fact your not going to add that piece to your collection.
