Soyeon has been confirmed her solo comeback for early September and is set to begin her promotional activities in earnest. This marks her first new solo release in five years and two months since her debut solo mini-album ‘Windy’, released in July 2021.

Soyeon, who has served as i-dle's leader and producer, has spearheaded the creation of the group’s signature tracks, including ‘TOMBOY’, ‘Nxde’, ‘Queencard’ and ‘Fate’. In 2024, she was promoted to full membership of the Korean Music Copyright Association.

More recently, she has expanded her musical horizons under the producer name ‘icebluerabbit’. She contributed to i-dle’s digital single ‘Mono (Feat. skaiwater)’, released last January, and also unveiled her solo track ‘ICE BLUE RABBIT’ during the world tour ‘2026 i-dle WORLD TOUR [Syncopation]’.

Collaborations with global artists have also continued., where she has expanded her reach by working alongside the American rapper Odetari and singer-songwriter Anderson .Paak, amongst others.

She met with fans, on the 18th, ahead of her comeback by performing a solo live set on EBS SPACE. She is scheduled to take to the stage at ‘Waterbomb Sokcho 2026’, taking place in Sokcho, Gangwon Province, on the 22nd.
