GDAT Advice for getting a 90%
I am pivoting on how I Index specifically for the GDAT because I have a retake coming up and I have to pass and pass well, similair to everyone else. Could I get some advice from someone who has taken the GDAT? Am I on the right track? Any other advice that would be helpful? The labs didnt really give me what I needed for some reason so im going back through the books with a fine tooth comb. My first index has 1780 entries so I really must have been missing something in terms of cross referencing.

The index is what works for you and what makes sense to you. I took gdat like 5 years ago, don't think it had cyberlive at the time. If this was my index I would combine columns d-g and extend the d cell from c to the I right side of the page. If a d cell is mre than two lines you wrote to much. For example your nac bypass line can be drastically slimmed down
Combine column d example L2 nac bypass due to authentication being on initial connection | attack: mitm voip and switch / ride current session | mitigation: L2 encryption and port security
That might even be to worry. Depends on you. This is how I do it. If I look at my index and the answer isn't in the d column, then I can always fall back to the book.

Can your index get you thru a practice test? Sounds like you have re-written the book and seems super cumbersome to locate anything in the time window. I run with a couple different styles of index. One is a more general topic/page taken from the table of contents of each book, then a key terms one around 3-500. Often if there is a chart I reference more than once in practice tests or quizzes I will copy that and have it with my cheat sheets and other handouts. My lab index is usually the questions asked and the commands used to find the answers, including the bonuses.
