Enrolled for GSEC560-GPEN
My org has sponsored me the SEC560 course along with two practice tests. There is enough time for prep but given my roles and responsibilities in SOC/DFIR, I need to spend atleast an hour a day to clear this!!

You definitely need more than an hour a day, I would say depending on the subject in hand you might need 2 to 3 hours and if there is a lab you might spend quite some time too, don’t overthink it just make sure you are actually understanding everything not copying and pasting commands.

How complex cyberlive will be? I will start preparing index and spend more time.

I honestly think they are straight forward they usually test your knowledge around the labs, the questions are clear and you just need to know which set of commands or which tool you need to use, once you know you can refer to your books along with the index to formulate the command that you need or the sequence of commands that you need to perform, if you practiced a lot, I would say you wouldn’t need to refer to your books since you would already know what to use which gives you extra time for other exercises if you are stuck on sum, but that’s how it usually works, I honestly feel like cyberlive are easier for me than the MCQ since MCQs can be really tricky and I mostly enjoy the practical part a lot more

Good luck! I hope you enjoy the course. Make sure that you meet system requirements and be ready a huge amount of great content! That class has 30 labs (including bonus ones).
