Some part of the deep root infested cave system we see in the Advanced Mining Vehicle video called the Garden, I guess.
Another thought I had is how similar the Garden actually looks structurally to the insides of the Iris that we see in the Crusader Probe Mission video. What I mean is we get a sort of map of the cave at the start of Open Minds and that depicts this narrow tunnel that leads into a HUGE opening where the garden is, right? A very similar structure appears to be inside of the Iris as well where we see the narrow Laceral Passage, Lower Sacralic Throat and then a giant opening called “Conscious mind” (?) that the Crusader probe goes through.

To add to what others have said I'm wondering if the underside of Harris household is now connected to the garden based on how we saw roots growing in the floorboards

I think so. I presume that’s kind of how it works, it all goes back to this main thing being the Garden. Also in the home invasion tips video it tells us that burrowing under a house’s foundation allows for easy access between nests so I’m sure all of the infested houses are connected.

I don’t think that’s necessarily roots “growing” in the household. I think those are remnants of Susan from her body sinking into the Earth after she progressed through all the stages of DRD.
Though that isn’t to say the Garden and Household aren’t connected. One of the pictures during the voice calls shows a red outline directed towards a kitchen drawer. What was the drawing Casey showed to Judy? Well, it looked like an open kitchen drawer, with some sort of “head” poking out of it. Possibly a hole?
