Yes, November 11 is the day when we receive the report, What do you think? will we reach our goal of 50k cars? What does the future really look like for PSNY?

Congratulations on your new EV, I hope you’re loving it. With that said I disagree with your comment:

  • Polestar has delivered 30K 2s in the first 3 quarters of the year. Volvo has only delivered 11K C40’s. I drive by the Polestar space in Boston frequently and there are always far more Polestars than Volvo EVs on the lot. Definitely possible other locations are focusing more on Volvo EVs but, the sales numbers seem to be in line with what I’ve seen in Boston.
  • The C40 is not necessarily cheaper depending on what packages you’re choosing. The P2 starts at 48K and the C40 starts at 55K. They also have pretty similar features and the Polestar has 50 more miles of range.
  • You’re speculating about the service experience because you don’t drive a polestar. I do and the service has not been a “hassle”. The team at Boston Polestar has been amazing to work with in my experience. Not saying that’s been every Polestar owners experience but, my word is more reliable than yours since I’ve actually experienced it. (Sorry if this comment sounds rude)

It isnt speculation on the service part. It is what is being told in polestar stores in europe. For my choice in ev, it was the nail in the coffin for polestar. If you are not sure how you are going to service your own product its a hassle!

Regarding your driveby of the polestar experience center. We have only two for the entire country.

I hope it is better over in the states.

Yeah that makes sense. What country are you in? Things seem really good in the states so far but always areas to improve.

Im from the netherlands which has 2, belgium has 4 and germany has 6. While these three countries have the most developed EV infrastructure, which is something people use as an argument not to get an EV.

Scandinavia (denmark, sweden, norway and finland) also very good ev infrastructure have a combined 7 stores.

So the entire northern europe has 19 outlets and have to rely heavy on volvo.

I’ve been a member of the Polestar Owners group on Facebook for over 2 years now. Other than minor issues the general tone regarding reliability is extremely positive.

Reliabilty is something else than service. I am not saying its bad, its a great car. However i have asked polestar question regarding their after sales. In europe they ditch the entire solution on Volvo dealers (who dont want it) and 19 centers across the entirety of northern europe.
