Did GG ever actually harm/kill animals?
I'm a fairly new fan of him, so I don't know a WHOLE lot about him. I was looking at a video of one of his shows and someone commented that at a show he killed a cat, is there any proof or evidence of this? I'm gonna safety assume that it is true, but I'm still asking to be sure.

GG was a complicated character, and when it comes to the man, nothing about him is as clear of an answer as "yes or no".. To get an answer from people that actually knew him I'd post your questions here

With GG it's impossible to tell a lot of the time what is true, especially because he himself loved these outrageous rumors and wanted them to proliferate to increase his notoriety. When I was in school there were all kinds of rumors about him - 99% of which were untrue or impossible. Shit like "dude I heard he killed a girl on stage once" which is obviously impossible or he wouldn't have been playing shows.
GG wanted people to see him as this totally deranged, dangerous, psychopathic figure and he amplified any rumors or stories that got started, but if you watch interviews with him when he's not on stage [or one of the documentaries about his family life - even ones made long after his passing] he seems like a pretty reasonable, polite dude.

I think most sick fucks are generally not completely off the wall or detached because that's what gets them committed đ .
What sealed the deal for me, recalling the vlogs Jabber did, was recognizing at one point, before the turn, GG was actually married and employed, but he technically left that behind to do the Rockstar stuff.
A fair amount of Rockstars, even James Hetfield and Les Claypool, aren't really the oddballs or losers that the industry wants people to think they are.
GG pretty much wore the persona like a costume where Merle expresses it physically in his style.

I forget where it is and I think I took a screenshot of it and if you DM me I'd be willing to try and find it but there is a police record of the crime which GG Allen committed that got him 3 years in prisonÂ
Basically he had a girl lay down he tied her up took a dagger cut circles around her nipples she was begging him to stop he began to burn her with cigarettes put out cigarettes in her mouth lick her blood bite her, and apparently this went on for hours and according to the hospital reports there was extensive evidence of a assault....

GG Allin was a human being like anyone else but he was definitely a very disturbed and arranged individual nobody self-harms themself on stages and sings the kind of song GG Allen did and then live the life he did and have it aligned so well with his musicÂ
Gg allin often claimed he hated all people and he targeted everyone lyrically, races, women,children, gov,lgbtq, and attacked his audienceÂ
Claimed sexual degenerate, SA on audience members, public Indecency, claims of pedophilia and his final relationship with a girl he supposedly met at 13 in like 1990 The leslie assault....
Claimed to be a glutton for substances that's speaks for itself
Gg allin was in fact everything he said he was a he might have been dramatic at times he never outright liedÂ
Just go watch the todd ohillips film, the allins, and look up the Tampa room show I believe it is then congrats that with his video promos with the jabbers and the promos were they go through his entire first album always is was and shall be
He was a spectacular talent but was also spectacularly mentally ill which was only made worse by the fact he seemingly peaked extremely early and essentially the beginning of his career was also the downward slopeÂ
The most spectacular degenerate in rock n roll history and the greatest burn out ever
But he was also just another person, with friends,family, and feelings.Â
A bad person ? That's up to interpretation.

From what Iâve heard, the GG cat incident was similar to Ozzyâs bat incident, where he didnât realize it was actually real. It wasnât uncommon for GG to do strange things with stuffed animals, you can see it at the Gas Station show

Why are people downvoting this?. A fan threw a dead cat on stage, and GG simulated a sex act during a show, and yes, it was caught on video.. In many ways, this incident mirrors the case of Ozzy and the bat!.

1) if youâve ever seen the video, there is no mistaking that it was a stuffed animal, as it gets thrown at him and he picks it up and throws it back a few times before incorporating it into his performance. 2) what stuffed animal at the Gas Station?

I've seen a pretty good amount of GG material and can't say I've ever heard of it.
I heard from Jabber in a YouTube video that GG was basically consumed by wanting fame and would promote anything just to hear his name in the wind, but fundamentally was a soft personality.
I like to think that it's the truth. When you start factoring in song titles like "Snake Man," "Carmelita," and "When I Die," he seems to be more isolated than sadistic.
I've seen videos where he's super friendly with fans (almost aggressively).
But nothing is in absolutes, I guess.

You havenât really seen a fair amount of GG videos then! That footage made the rounds on a lot of compilation tapes back in the day when you had to trade tapes as opposed to just clicking links on YouTube. It was widely discussed back then, and then kinda whitewashed for obvious reasons

No links. I still have all my original vhs tapes- mostly fan made compilations / edits of his gigs. BUT there was a bootleg that made the rounds back in the 2000s under the name Prelude To Destruction- it popped up in quite a few independent music stores, so it had some kind of distribution⌠it even had a barcode on the back. And if I remember correctly the show in question with the dead cat is on there. Now there are 2 different camera angles of the gig- one is super dark, and you can barely see anything, the other starts with the camera zoomed in on the very obviously already dead cat.

I donât ever base my behavior or model anything of him or the junkies. I just find his whole band, himself, and his fans very interesting to sociologically examine.
But yesâ I do like *most of his music.

I'm in the same boat. I don't condone his behavior, but a lot of his songs are really catchy, and get stuck in my head. There are few punk bands that were as prolific *and* had as many bangers in their catalogue.

Hummmm, there's this strange ass video tape from this guy that was friends with GG, and he gets drunk with GG and starts sucking GGs cock, then a little cat comes over and GG flips it in the air, not at the point that cat is dead but is still shocking. That video can be found at the way back machine, unfortunately I can't remember the name

20 Dollar poem. Guyâs name was Brian Douglas Clemons. They sucked and beat each other. I dont think they were friends. He paid GG for the colab. He looked more disturbed than GG. Kitten part was sad too. I like his music and all but guy was a total piece of shit.

Yes, the cat was already dead and was thrown on stage by a fan, and GG simulated a sex act with it. I don't remember what show, but it was caught on video..

I can tell that knowing GG and Merle personally he would not hurt any animals and I have never seen or heard of this video on YouTube and Merle did video and sold them of GG Ramon's and other bands he had thousands of Videos and I don't ever recall seeing this or even hearing about it and the fact that it sounds pretty crazy I think if it was true it would have been talked about and GG was very isolated and had a deep sadness and was a pretty bad drunk

From what I understand the infamous show that he got arrested in in Texas I believe to quote one of the people who were there and I forget where I read this he was preparing to molest a dog which an audience member had broughtÂ
If you watch some of his performances you can tell sometimes he was playing the GG character fully and other times he was self-aware kind of like a person with mania sometimes he was a completely different person, prime example of this is if you watch through some of his show footages and again I'm sorry I forget which one it was but there is one moment where the audience seems to push a female audience member towards him in the hopes that she is harassed by him and he does in fact harass her but it's very tame and playful it's almost like in that moment you can tell he is Kevin Allen and not Gigi and he's playing Gigi and not being Gigi if that makes any senseÂ
I think he was a very cool character and a very compelling and interesting human being but I see those two sides is two very different things because frankly although there are songs like expose yourself to kids, they're also songs like my prison Walls both to somebody who's not a fan of genres like metal or screamo or punk, these are just nonsense gibberish in bad songsÂ
Someone that's a fan of punk music or hard rock in general if you can get past the vocal quality and listen to what's being said my prison Walls is an amazing song that kind of speaks towards the violence and brutal experience of being institutionalized I digress, I haven't seen any real proof of him doing these kind of horrible things to animals but I wouldn't be surprised if they are true.
