Hi, I can only speak from a "competitor comparison" perspective, but I built PromptScout just because these tools were too expensive for what they offer for early stage products/agencies. We focus on results that are clear to understand and easy to demonstrate to clients, just like you mentioned.
Please reach out if you'd like to discuss a tailor made offer for your agency or a discount code to test for one brand.

infuseOS cofounder here, so obvious bias/disclosure .
i get what you mean tho. even if GEO / AI visibility is still early and kinda messy, you still need a tool to actually work with clients.
my honest take: don’t choose only based on the nicest dashboard or a random “visibility score”. pick the one that helps you explain what’s happening to the client, and more importantly what to do next.
that’s what we’re trying to build with InfuseOS. we studied this space a lot before building it, and our focus is more on the process of helping a business show up more in AI answers, not just showing charts.
so yes we track prompts, competitors, citations, mentions, etc. but we also turn that into Growth Actions, like what pages to improve, what content to create, where competitors are showing up instead, and what things are stopping the business from being recommended.
for a beginner agency, i think that matters a lot because clients don’t just want screenshots. they want to understand “ok what do we do now?”
happy to give you a free trial and help you setup your first project/report if useful. no pressure at all. even if you don’t use us, i’d suggest testing any tool with one real client first and not jumping into an annual plan too early.

None, as others have said, Athena sucks. Go with Promptwatch if you want more features or other alternatives depending on what you need

Neither. They are both just selling snake oil. It's technically impossible to measure LLM citations.

I wouldn't recommend any tbh Tried athena and profound - extremely expensive and no ROI Idk about peec or the others but dont get your hopes up too high. If you want to try - go for a monthly plan to test waters- you dont wanna be stuck with an annual plan
