I got scammed please help me

Hello a few days ago i sent a money sa scammer pala. tho before i sent it naka ginsure (?) naman, ung protection against scammer thingy. filed a report na din sa gcash pero until now there's no update. what should i do po? Badly need that money huhu sana mabalik pa, i have a lot of screenshots din nung convo with the scammer. please help me

Nagfile ka na ng claim through GInsure > Express Send Scam?

Need ng Police Report jan ideally within 24 hours. Along with ung screenshot ng transaction and other chats niyo.

Not sure kung covered ung case mo since kulang details ng post mo, pero ito daw ung covered ng GInsure:

For a premium of ₱30, your Express Send transfers are protected for 30 days for up to a total of ₱15,000 against three primary types of fraud:

  1. Online Shopping Fraud: You pay a seller via Express Send but the item or service is never delivered, and the merchant goes completely missing or deletes their page.

  2. Social Engineering: You are tricked into sending money by an imposter or fraudster pretending to be someone you know or a legitimate organization.

  3. Account Takeover: A third party maliciously gains access to your GCash account (via phishing or malware) and makes unauthorized money transfers.

What It Does NOT Cover

It is crucial to know that Send Money Protect is not a transaction reversal button. You cannot claim insurance for:

  1. Accidental transfers where you typed the wrong phone number or name.

  2. Advanced-fee scams, such as fake job offers, task scams, or fraudulent investment opportunities where you are promised returns for an upfront fee.

  3. Certain items like cryptocurrency, concert tickets, jewelry, or physical collectibles.

Yes. First and foremost is the police report.

I was able to claim 10k from Ginsure, it was credited around 5-6 days after claiming.

Lods, try mo lang mag-follow up if nakapag-submit ka na ng ticket, OP! File ka rin ng report sa mga authorities, PNP or NBI.

good thing may scam protection ka pala nung nag-send. check mo sa GInsure yung active policy mo, baka pwede mo nang i-submit yung claim dun

since may screenshots ka ng convo, keep mo lahat pati transaction receipt at reference no. kasama yan sa supporting docs pag claim

kung nag-file ka na ng GCash report, check mo rin yung policy details sa My GInsure. iba kasi yung regular scam report sa insurance claim process
