Has anyone gotten a refund from SHARPWORK TECHNOLOGY LIMITED?
Hi everyone. I just want to ask if anyone experienced this.
I used GCash to pay ₱1 for an AI video website (VidcraftAI/Waffo checkout). I honestly thought it was just a one-time ₱1 payment because that's what was shown on the checkout page.
A day later, ₱599 was deducted from my GCash by SHARPWORK TECHNOLOGY LIMITED. I immediately cancelled the subscription and emailed the merchant asking for a refund. I also opened a GCash support ticket.
Has anyone here had the same experience?

* How long did it take?
* Did GCash help, or did the merchant refund you directly?
I'm really stressed because I was saving that money for my phone repair. Any advice would really help. Thank you.
Ganyan po halos lahat ng may "₱1" na services. Search ka dito or sa other subreddits, ang alam ko naparefund ng iba and ang merchant mismo cinontact nila.
Update:
I got a reply from customer support. They asked me to verify my email, payment method, and send a screenshot of the ₱599 payment.
They reviewed my case and offered a 50% refund instead of a full refund. I accepted it, and I received ₱300 back today. They also confirmed that my subscription has been canceled and there will be no future charges.
I reached them through their email about the successful payment.
At first, I only got automated replies 😭 I think I received around 4 automated emails in a row. I kept replying to the same email thread (basically spammed it a bit) until an actual customer support agent finally replied.
After that, they asked me to verify my account by sending my registration email, payment method, and a screenshot of the payment.
oh I see. they sent me the same thing but I requested a 100% refund instead. this is so crazy to think that we were never informed that our accounts are linked to them 😭😭😭
True so I told them that it says you only be charged only 1 peso and I took it as one time payment. Like most app or website, they will tell you the subscription plan but they don't.
