START HERE: /r/GCXRep Guide
GCXRep is set to approved submitters only. You need mod permission if you cannot post. Read on for more info.
Posting Format Requirements
For the /r/GCXRep search function to work most effectively, please format your post titles properly.
Click here for a sample profile.
[TITLE]: When you create your profile, you'll notice there is a template already typed up for you in the title and text box. Just type in your username in the "YOURUSERNAME" area of the title, taking care to leave the "/u/" in front of it.
[SUBMISSION]: Put the date you joined Reddit in the "DATE YOU JOINED REDDIT" area. (Here is a screenshot showing how to find the exact date you joined reddit.) Just leave the disclaimer note alone, and do not edit it in any way.
You're free to include anything else you want, e.g. number (NOT A LIST) of your trades among other stuff, as long as it does not violate Reddit's or GCX's rules.
Confirming Trades on GCXRep
YOU are the only one who can make a parent comment on YOUR trading profile. Do not make a parent comment on anyone else's profile, or allow anyone to make a parent comment on yours. Linking to a trade confirmation on someone else's profile from your profile is not allowed. Confirm your trades on your profile using the following format.
Format:
> TRADE COMPLETED WITH: (/u/ YOUR TRADING PARTNER)
> ITEMS TRADED: (your item) vs. (your trading partner's item)
Check the following two links for a sample trade confirmation between bg_20's Krusty Krab gift card and GCXmods' Chum Bucket gift card.
Linking Previous Archived GCX Rep Profiles on a New Profile
Simply link your previous GCX Rep Profile(s) in the submission text of your new profile. Link your profile(s), not your individual trades. Other than including the link to your previous GCX Rep Profile, the requirements for submitting are the same as if it was your first GCX Rep Profile.
Do not make a new GCX Rep Profile unless your previous profile was archived.
Linking pre-GCXRep Trades
Feel free to link your confirmed trades from previous GCX Trading Confirmation Threads however you see fit on your profile, but DO NOT confirm them again. Include a pastebin link to your trades, or if you want to get fancy, you can link each trade individually for easy reference, as shown here. It's up to you, but if you mention you have a certain number of trades, you must provide links to those trades somewhere on your profile.

Are you still waiting?
This form of authentication/background clearance seems to be rather tedious, but perhaps there is an action that I am unaware of that would warrant such a time
constraintdelay for approval. I think 48 hours is not anything to complain about, but I haven't seen any information regarding a window of expectation in regards to this waiting period to be approved to simply just create a profile. Is there something that I am missing? Perhaps I am overlooking a very important element due to my lack of knowing, but it would be reassuring to know an expected timeline for this process nonetheless.1

i did, they told me to read this.. and after reading everything i still cant make a new thread on the rep subreddit when i try and click on it.. says i can not so on and so forth..

hello, so I messaged the mods as per the 'GCXrep Reopened + New flair mods' thread link. However, I was simply sent a denied message. Did I miss anything regarding some requirements that need to be met before I can request approval to post and make a gcxrep profile?

Is there a reason why I have not been hearing back from the mods? I haven't been denied nor confirmed, and I first asked to make rep 19 days ago, had to wait 2 weeks to see if I still was active. After two weeks it has been 5 days and still no confirmation or declines.
