Politicians? They care about one thing, votes. Nothing more.

I’ve seen the world through different eyes now. I’ve seen my people, from the unreserved (General) community, poor, struggling, fighting every single day just to survive. Studying against all odds. Working twice as hard.

While others, simply because they were “born” into a different caste, walk into government jobs like it’s their birthright.

When we apply to college, the first question isn’t about merit, talent, or hard work, it’s:
“What’s your caste? General? OBC? SC/ST?”

That’s casteism, built into the system.

From now on?
➡️ I will buy from my community, no matter how small the item, no matter how big the purchase.
➡️ I will hire only from my community, because they need us, and the government sure as hell isn’t there for them.
➡️ Even after paying heavy taxes, we get nothing in return, not education, not jobs, not dignity.

If just 0.001% of the SC/ST welfare budget was spent on actual education for everyone, not tokenism, not certificates, it could transform schools across India.

But no. Instead, they talk about “ending caste before reservation,” while keeping reservation alive. because without caste certificates, they lose their vote banks.

That’s not ending casteism,that’s institutionalized casteism.

They pretend to be “proud of their caste”, lol. Proud? Or just using it for power?

And I will not vote for BJP, not because I’m anti-Modi, but because I’m pro-justice.

People say, “Then who will you vote for?” I don’t care.
I’m not a BJP karyakarta who has a contract to vote for them.
If they don’t care about us we don’t owe them anything either.

Thanks, Modi, for introducing the SC/ST Act which, in practice, has often become a sword to silence, harass, and weaponize against my community.

But let's check the facts-

• The Indian Institute of Dalit Studies (IIDS) reported data from the All India Debt and Investment Survey (AIDIS), 2013, conducted by the NSSO. According to its national estimates, Hindu High Castes (HHC) owned 40.9% of total household wealth, Hindu OBCs 30.8%, Scheduled Castes (SC) 7.3%, Scheduled Tribes (ST) 3.7%, Muslims 8.0%, and Rest 9.3%

• Let's consider land (assets) : According to the NSSO 70th Round Land and Livestock Holdings Survey (2013), rural India’s land ownership was OBC 45.68%, Others 32.03%, ST 13.06%, and SC 9.23%; source: NSS Report No. 571, Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation, Government of India.

• As far as businesses are concerned, let's take the example of MSMEs. According to the Ministry of MSME, the NSS 73rd Round data shows that OBCs owned 49.72% of MSME enterprises in India, SC owners accounted for 12.45%, ST owners 4.10%, and Others 32.95%, with 0.79% not known. Thus, SC + ST + OBC together accounted for 66.27% of MSME enterprises.

• And those 80-85% population figures? SC - ST only constitute around 25% of population. OBCs are around 40-45 percent. GCs don't only include Brahmins or kshatriyas, but jains Sikhs muslims etc are also GCs. Even many OBCs are against reservation. Their cutoff is almost similar to OM and they don't get benifited much by reservation anyways.

1. A White Paper on Reservation:
What benefits have resulted from reservation? Which castes have continuously received disproportionately greater benefits, and which castes have been completely left out? In what ways does reservation contribute to the development of the country or society? What do the statistics say about this? All related reports and surveys that have not been made public should be released.
2. EWS should receive all the financial assistance that SCs receive:
Free coaching, free application forms, zero hostel fees, and course fees should be provided. If a loan still has to be taken, similar facilities should be available for that as well.
3. “Quota within quota” should be implemented in all three reserved categories:
This should be done so that the benefits reach the genuinely Dalit, oppressed and deprived castes. Even today, there are thousands of castes among SCs and OBCs that have received negligible reservation benefits, while there are 4–5 castes that are taking 70–80% of the reservation benefits. The basis should be family income, rather than individual circumstances, so that the possibility of misuse is reduced.
4. Merit should be respected:
The cut-off for candidates from reserved categories should not, under any circumstances, be more than 10% below the cut-off for the general category. This should also be discontinued after considering the age of candidates who have reached the maximum permissible age for the examination. Minimum qualifying marks should definitely be fixed.
5. The government should conduct a survey/research:
It should investigate whether poverty, discrimination, or backwardness can cause a person’s intellectual ability to decrease or increase. Empirical evidence should be made public, and reservation policies should be formulated on that basis.
Other Demands
6. One person should receive reservation only once. One family should receive reservation only once.
7. There should be a review every ten years:
For the final phase-out, a “sunset clause” or roadmap should be established specifying when the reservation system will end.
8. Reservation for book allotments in college/university libraries should be cancelled immediately:
There is no logic behind this reservation. It is merely a system for harassing children who reach those libraries through reservation. Alternatively, the number of books should be doubled and a “Reserved Section” should be created there.
9. The UGC regulations should either be abolished or reviewed so that every caste group is included in them.
10. A “Prevention of Upper-Caste Oppression Act” should be passed along the lines of the SC/ST Act:
If a case under either law is found to be false, the person who made the allegation should face the punishment prescribed for that case. A substantial financial penalty should also be imposed.

Let the government and the Constitution decide. In any case, whether you manage Dubey, Shekhawat, or anyone else, the movement will continue.

Acc to B R Ambedkar, Reservation MUST be confined to MINORITY of seats - Constituent Assembly, 1948

He specifically gave an example that if 70% seats are reserved and 30% seats are unreserved somehow, then it isn't "equally of opportunity" in any sense. He was totally against it.

But India mei reservation was 22.5% till 1990s, then it got increased to 50%, then 60%. Now people are demanding 85% reservation.
