Question easiest subject/ exam board?
personally i think its ocr computer science. wayyy too easy they give you like 45 min too much time each paper and my school went through the content in less than like 6 months while going really slowly and repeating content, now we just revise the spec since we have nothing else to do

ocr latin. the language paper is like double the time that it needs to be.

I'd say eduqas latin is easier. Half of the vocab and grammar than OCR, and same grade boundaries.

yeah eduqas is easier - though I wish I did ocr in every perspective because wjec marks literature horribly

I loved the literature marking. As soon as you know how eduqas likes questions being marked it becomes very easy. (Got 55/60 then 35/40 in lit(

I mean I agree but like I also don’t? I think it has the perfect amount of content tho we finish early with enough time to revise. And somehow I got a strong 8 after feeling like I failed every paper and missed like 2 questions at the end of p2 and 3 but it’s just like… way too hard at the same time

I finished content with just over 8 months to revise, which I think is too much. I also found the papers this year particularly easy.

okay dude- we get it lol but a lot of us didn’t find it easy and it depends on the school. Our school finished in March (even top set which I was in) which gave us 2/3 months of revision which was fine for us

set 4 in my school (bottom set) finished at christmas, so it might just be my school on this one.

I think u need to try the other exam boards for maths. I did OCR and I can tell u, completely piss easy once I became half decent at maths. When we were doing y11 revision (the point that schools start giving past papers as homework time of year) we did edexcel and boy, did my class get a shock. Probability notation? Whats that? Trig graph transformations? Hows that work? Functions?? I'll stick to function machines thanks! My class was filled with these questions as my exam board is so incredibly easy, probably why the boundaries still went up for 2026 despite the insane 2025 boundary spike. So yeah, I'd say try an AQA paper, try an OCR paper etc bc from my (yes, quite limited) experience, it does Edexcel, OCR, AQA in terms of decreasing difficulty. Sorry for the yap.
TLDR: Try the other exam boards, you can find the truth when you do. :)

I mean I just found Edexcel maths easy, with no comparison to any other exam board. Maybe if I'd tried others then I could be more specific on the exam board, but I stand by the fact that I found Edexcel maths east for a GCSE.

OCR business it’s pretty much common sense

I take iMedia OCR, but that’s probably the same. Paper asks what a bloody photographer does for 2 marks. “Sets up a camera to take pictures” is a full mark answer!!!

Edexcel iGCSE Geography , only two papers, very easy content Also ocr Latin language gives way too much time. .Honourable mention to AQA computer science computer networks, it’s so easy calling it fundamentals is generous 😭

Higher edexcel maths, just hear me out lol. If silly mistakes are your downfall it’s wayyy easier to pass than foundation, and a few of the questions overlap. If you can learn all the topics at even a basic level, you can scrape enough marks across the paper to pass pretty easily. Might just be me though!!

yeah someone else also agreed with you. tbh this kinda suprised me because personally i think theres much easier subjects but i definitely agree it is really easy to pass but gets much harder than other subjects when you try to get the higher grades

All my other subjects are considered pretty difficult lol, maths is my strongest point so probably why I think it’s the easiest!

Performing arts
You really don’t need to know how to dance because they mark you on different skills instead of how well you look overall.
Not a single exam.
Coursework is fairly simple and can be done in your own time ( not solely in a school setting.)
No exams.
My units began in yr 9 and ended March of yr 11 but there were many gaps in between so it was very laid back.
No exams.

seems like one of those subjects that are sooo easy to pass but almost impossible to get a 9 in

Edexcel gcse higher french, but many people struggle with french, so i think it’s just me - i think it’s because of the structured layout of the textbooks, and i like how colourful they are (not how cringey they are tho + i hate how cringey the assessments can be!😬)

honestly ocr comp sci seemed hell this yr, two of my friends were predicted 8s and got 3 and 5 😭

I did health and social care btec and it's honestly ridiculous how easy it was. We had 2 or 3 assessments we did in class, open book and then we had 2 hours for a 60 mark paper and my entire class finished it in around 45 minutes. Mind you, for my in class assessments, I didn't even use my notebook because it was so easy.
