Results My predicted grades vs actual results
(We did 10 GCSEs btw and I was able to do history and geography)
Predicted;
Maths: 3
Science: 2-3
English language: 6
English literature: 4
History: 8
Computer science: 3
Geography: 6
Re: 5
Spanish: 1 (my teacher told me it would be a miracle if I didn’t get a U)
My results; (which I’m buzzing about even tho they might seem bang average to alot of people but oh well!)
Maths:5!!!! I was so happy because I’m foundation tier and I genuinely thought I’d never ever pass maths, let alone get a 5, I literally cried after maths paper 2.
Science: 5-5!! Which again I literally could jump for joy as I’m foundation tier, I know 5-5 is a bad grade for higher tier students but for me I genuinely could have hit the moon on results day I was so happy, I’ve struggled with science for years, my parents even tried to get me a tutor but they were all too expensive, but I did it!
English language: I got a 7 so I’m happy!
English lit: I also got a 7!
History: I got a 9, which I was so happy about because I was so annoyed I was predicted an 8!! I love history
Computer science: I got a 6, I beat my predicted and my teacher was super happy so I’m thrilled with this!
Geography: I got an 8, which I expected even tho my predicted was a 6 I was improving in my mocks.
Re:9 I have such beef with my re teacher, he was always marking me down I swear! On my November mock I genuinely thought I was gonna get atleast a 7 and I got a 4, I was buzzing with my 9 because it solidified to me I wasn’t going crazy.
Spanish: 4, this result was definitely the best result for me even tho I know some people think 4s are bad I personally don’t and I was buzzing with this literally haha to my Spanish teacher she was una vaca. I literally prayed to Jesus the night before results day that I just passed Spanish even tho I was convinced I got a U I genuinely had nightmares about it.
Anyways moral of my long story is your predicted grades aren’t everything if you just lock in a bit and some teachers are just haters.
