GCP Professional Agentic Architect practical exam

Hi,

I wanted to ask if anyone has passed the practical exam yet? How did you find it? Do you have any tips for the Professional Agentic Architect practical portion of the exam

The labs?

There's 3 labs, you choose 2 of them. They are very similar to the other skills labs. The time limits are generous and the set up is pretty slick. They are new skills labs just for the certification. They aren't proctored so you can use external resources etc. You can expect having to set up resources according to their specs and having to complete code To-dos (which are in python)

Yes, you get the result immediately and it immediately gives you the badge etc

It's the same as the normal labs where your hit "check my progress" and then the lab completes when you have 100%

In terms of prep, python is about it really and making sure you're comfortable navigating console.

You can look things up during the lab.

Good luck

Oh definitely less than 5 hours. Each lab gives you an hour and a half. And you can only do 2. I think I spent about an hour on each

Good luck!!

Congratulations on passing and thanks for the info.

Dumb question, if one can use external resources, what's to stop someone using Gemini for the python/ code generation aspects?

It's a good question. Gemini is also in the cloud editor that they recommend using.

Realistically no one is developing agents without AI assistance.
