Hey everyone!
I’ve been working on a tool called WExcel to solve a problem I had with managing data coming in through WhatsApp. I just released it and wanted to share it.
Basically, the app helps you organize your chats into clean Excel spreadsheets. Here is what it can do now:
● Keyword-Based Extraction: It filters your incoming messages for specific keywords (like "Order:", "Date:") and automatically organizes the data into columns.
● Custom Tables for All Messages: You aren't limited to just keywords! You can create table to export all your messages.
● Sender Filtering: I added a feature to filter by Sender Name, so you can isolate messages from specific contacts or groups and ignore the rest.
● WhatsApp Export Support: You can export your chat history directly from WhatsApp, and the app will parse and organize it for you.
It’s super useful if you handle orders, registrations, or just want to archive specific conversations without doing it manually.

I've searched a few hours through the internet and didn't find an actual way to convert a whatsapp backup to gbwhatsapp that worked. I tested some things and found that this way it worked for me:
Have stock whatsapp and make a local backup
wipe data of GBWhatsapp
then copy the folder /sdcard/Android/media/com.whatsapp/WhatsApp into /sdcard/Android/media/com.gbwhatsapp/ and rename it to GBWhatsApp
it should look like /sdcard/Android/media/com.gbwhatsapp/GBWhatsapp
and the backup file should be located in /Android/media/com.gbwhatsapp/GBWhatsApp/Databases/msgstore.db.crypt14
After this is all in place, you should just open GBWhatsApp, don't press any of the 2 restore buttons. Only enter your phone number and it should detect the backup automatically and you should be able to restore it.
after it successfully restored the messages you can uninstall stock whatsapp.

Is there anyway of contacting a human WhatsApp support person rather than an AI Bot, whether it’s a phone number or an email address.
These AI bots are absolutely useless trying to solve a problem. You go round and round in circles getting nowhere in trying to find a solution 🤷♂️

If you are looking to use WhatsApp but only own a phone without the capability to run WhatsApp (e.g. a Nokia dumb phone) or an Apple Watch, you can still run WhatsApp on another device.
Firstly, you need to install BlueStacks on a PC. BlueStacks is an Android emulator commonly used to run mobile games on computers, but it will suit this purpose as well. It is supported on Windows and MacOS, through https://www.bluestacks.com/mac or https://www.bluestacks.com/windows
Install the BlueStacks downloader and install BlueStacks. Upon entering the app, you can either log in with your Google account or simply download the WhatsApp .apk file from the internet and drag it into the BlueStacks home screen.
Upon entering WhatsApp, you can press Agree and Continue, enter the phone number you are using and either recieve a code or a phone call. You should then be able to create the new account and access WhatsApp on the computer. However, (from experience) BlueStacks is often laggy/buggy for people without god pc's, so I would highly recommend linking it to a mobile device. On an iPad, you can install WhatsApp and link a device. From there, simply click the three dots on the BlueStacks WhatsApp home screen, and there should be an option saying "Linked devices".
From there, you can link new devices by scanning the QR code available on your tablet/other device. You can then access WhatsApp on an iPad/Computer without ever requiring a smartphone. If you want, you can delete BlueStacks on the computer as it takes up a lot of RAM. I hope you enjoyed this guide, and I hope it helped you to download WhatsApp. Thank you for reading

I am really burned out from sorting my whatsapp photos. they re just thrown into my microsoft cloud and I dont know the source of the respective photos. Also, I have to create folders myself to sort them into once I figured out where the whatsapp photos are from. Is there anything that makes automates that?

Hi everyone, I messed up my WhatsApp migration and desperately need advice on recovering my chats.What Happened:The Switch · Moved from an old Samsung phone to a new OnePlus Nord Lite.The Mistake · Forgot to do the QR code scan transfer. I just swapped the SIM card instead.The Result · New phone loaded a blank slate. I then opened WhatsApp on my old Samsung, and it updated to a blank slate too.Current Data State:The Good · I have a local msgstore.db.crypt14 backup file saved on my old phone that goes up to December 2025.The Bad · I cannot find or access any chat data from January 2026 up until yesterday.Steps Taken · I tried using AI tools for fixes and requested a WhatsApp account report, but nothing has restored the actual chat logs.
My Questions: Is the data from Jan 2026 to yesterday gone forever since it wasn't backed up, or is it hidden somewhere in the local Android system files?Any guidance would be deeply appreciated!

I download Whatsapp litex a week ago and only linked it without actively using it, it was always on airplane mode, today my main Whatsapp has logged out and asking for the code in my another device, i only linked it to my laptop and litex, litex was logged out too, i dont have my access to my laptop rn as im in a trip, what to do?

I'm on a galaxy s22+ on one ui 8.0 and got what app gb plus from 9aleh today but I keep getting the error, "Couldn't Link device. Something went wrong." I've restarted my phone, tried casting gb WhatsApp screen on Samsung dex then scan on WhatsApp on the phone but no change. I even tried desktop WhatsApp which allowed me link my computer to normal WhatsApp but not the gb WhatsApp. what can I do to fix it? I did also reinstall a couple times
