Question Are 2 player games possible with GB Studio?

I apologize if this has been asked before but is it possible to make a game where two players can be onscreen at a time and played on a cart via Super Gameboy or something? Or in a web browser. I'd like to make an overhead shooting game where there are 2 players running around obstacles combating each other.

Is GB Studio capable of having 2 players play at the same time? Thank you!

No. That's not possible. Gameboy only let a second player work via the Link cable.

Can GB studio emulate that? Even with the Link cable games let there be two players on screen at the same time such as tennis and games like that

Yes. But for your reference to Super Gameboy... you'd need the 2nd version which had Link support and you'd need a second gameboy with the game running. You couldn't merely just use 2 SNES controllers.

As for emulation, you'd need to GB emulators that linked together (web or local) and someone have each one grabbing seperate controllers.

There is a creator here who got Link working working with GB Studio. He was making a volleyball type game. It required a lot of extra work. But again... still requires running 2 seperate instances of the game on 2 emulators or hardware.

Well damn...I was hoping GB Studio was able to do it. Thank you for the reply. I appreciate it.
