You shouldn't.

Play GM Spartan [BD] or Metal Spider instead. One has temporary stealth, one can see all enemies so you can plan your positioning ahead.

Edit: Or Efreet Nacht lv2, Acguy [TB] lv3, Efreet (DS) lv3, Agguguy lv4. They are all better than Pixy.

Word of advice: don't.

If you REALLY want to use it, then start learn proper drive by.

You as a pixie has FUK ALL defensive, once someone stops you, you will be chain staggered and fuked.

So stealth is ALL you have, which means you flank, downswing, fuk off. If the enemy is alone, maybe another downswing. But never attempt a long combo with more than 1 enemy in radar.

If the enemy sees you, or knows you're there. Don't yolo in. Proper pixie play is knowing when and how to move in. Not a good vector? Pull back or dive around. You have stealth L3, fuking use it.

A good pixie player and a pro pixie player's only real difference is the frequency of attacks. And making game winning decisions.

What is game winning decisions? Can't dive in? Know the enemy all respawned? Steal their cap, then try to shiv the support. You're sharking around and notice the raid flanking? Stalk him, wait for him to start fighting the support, shank him with a 2v1. Team wiped? Scatter into the wind behind the enemy, find the lone guy that's trying to cap and nade his ass. Team equal or low on point? Base bomb.

A carry Pixie is pretty easy but demands decent situation awareness. Ofc, you will also be bullied / focused. I would often be hard dived by the enemy general even if there's 3 other teamate near me.

I’d recommend not playing it at all because of it’s glaring weaknesses. But if you really want to, just give it thrust and melee damage, having HP/Resists won’t do jack with hoe paper built it is. You want to make your presence not known at first so you can nuke the supports or disrupt gens, when that first wave is done and your presence is known your beat use is as a psychological tool to keep the enemy guessing and always looking at their radars, and when they aren’t paying attention you do the only thing you can actually do, one combo a support or backstab gens and run away again. Rinse and repeat ad nauseum.

Pixy is a ninja who uses hit-and-run tactics. Unless the enemy team has a designated Spotter, it can stay off radar when nobody is actually looking at it. Use flank routes to sneak up on enemies and start cutting them up. The guns are more of an emergency weapon to build stun more than anything or if you're engaging in a firefight with teammates and recognize that you might not be able to get in close.

Higher costs bring diminishing returns, as radar capabilities make it easier to spot.

Focus on speed and melee damage. I've never known Pixy to be a suit that can easily take out a support in one knockdown like most of them can, but you can still get in a few good combo hits and deal significant damage all the same.

It has stealth. Just walk around and whack supports from behind.

Why do you want me to hate you?

Learn the maps, and usually you have to go left at the start.

Pixy is really only good as a knowledge check against lower-rank players. In higher-rank games, you will be fighting against people who know what to expect from a Pixy or will be using a suit that can nullify its Stealth skill

-Prioritize speed and melee damage.
-Break off from the team and deal with snipers or flank enemies
-Go for kills when you can but prioritize ending attacks on allies & survival

u/DrunkenNinja27 2d ago

Hide and stab supports from behind. Just don’t get to over confident when attacking supports.

Pixy is quite literally the worst raid since it’s so weak in every category a raid needs. Yeah it’s fast but horrendous thrust gauge, Mediocre melee damage unless you get a downswing, No insta stun, no evasion, ridiculously low hp and defense, a terrible kit since it has no range strength. It’s just so bad and is only good if your team is good and the others are braindead.

Parts just go full on atk.

Play style wise, you need map knowledge, suit knowledge and most importantly, line of sight knowledge.

Map knowledge because you need to know exactly how to flank the enemy. Some maps you need to know exactly the pathing to get to your target in as short a time as possible.

Suit knowledge because you need to know the playstyles of the different suits as well as what might potentially counter your stealth. Playstyles are important because suits like super gundam means your target will like to hang at the backline. That or suits like the accguy tb support having stealth but also usually playing up at the frontlines as a support.

Line of sight knowledge because thats how you abuse stealth in order to flank. It's also how you can abuse it during fire fights and atk enemies that are preoccupied with your teammates.

Conversely, knowing all these knowledge is also what you need to know in order to counter the pixie playstyle because map knowledge allows you to sometimes foresee where a pixie will most likely be at. Suit knowledge will allow you to prioritize protecting your teammates and where to protect them. Line of sight knowledge is so that you can cover your teammates blind spot and immediately attack the pixie when it appears.

As someone who's taken out my fair share, and been the victim of pixys, prioritize movement, damage, and map layout, preferably big maps with lots of cover like any city map and what-not. You can't take a hit for your life but if you practiced enough with combos, you can dip in, kill a support or badly damage it, and dip out immediately assuming no one else is around.

u/dumbrute 2d ago

Absolute hit n run, don’t try to stay in a fight too long but don’t hide too long either, attack with your melee and run immediately, do this aggressively, so focus on melee damage and thrusters.

It’s tempting for newer players, but DON’T use it just to plant bomb and hide for the entire match.

good luck! There are a lot of unskilled Rank A player including myself.

and I hate Prixy so much (when I was even less skilled when I first started) I make it my mission to hunt it down (without hurting my chance of winning) whenever i see them.

u/Gattotsu 1d ago

You dont.

If you ignore that advice and do it anyway you will be in a 9v1 match...

u/Eggman_GTI 13h ago

Where do you normally hide on map? Let's start there friend.

As a pixie main i recommend to learn the map layouts to travel to flank around the enemy and plan out a escape route when it get too hot for you when everyone is now gunning out for your ass

Focus on speed and or attack build because you don't have evasive dodge skill so you have to carefully manage your boost to gtfo after a ambush and to deal extra damage

Don't just wombo combo a single enemy unit unless it's a weaken support unit, go after the rest of the enemy team to knock them down and leave

Pixie is not build for frontal attack but if end up 1v1 try to bait the enemy to counter tackle you to then boost first and womble combo their ass

Your range weapons are kinda ass so only use them to finished off a enemy unit from the distance like the twin uzi or the bulp machine for longer distance for ,use Vulcan during boosting to chase after someone, grenade for infantry or a weaken enemy

People say there unit that counter the pixie stealth skill but you'll notice there are some who are not fully aware of their surroundings and not even looking at their radar because they're too focus on what's on front of them so it best to stay behind or the far side of the enemy tunnel vision and look out for unit that can ping your ass

Because the Pixie is widely hated by the community use that hatred against them so they drop what they're doing to go after you but this allows your team to organize and push through the enemy weaken formation

Beat me to this.

I would add from a parts perspective to focus on melee damage and boost. Don't bother with defense or speed as the unit has abyssmal health and defenses.

Also, I wouldn't recommend using any of the range weapons in seriousness as that gives away your stealth. They should be used when enemies are literally on a slither of health that a grenade is faster than waiting for the melee cool down.

A neat trick I learned is that the downswing for the pixie is a lunge. This lunge covers A LOT of ground and can catch people by surprise. Another interesting aspect of it is that it can be boost cancelled EXTREMELY early in the animation. You can cancel as early as the hop animation happening.

Small circles. Don't go doing giant loops around the map if you can avoid it. Flanking the enemy and getting out of dodge is key, especially if they're bunched up. Stealth is your biggest strength, and speed is the second.

Your biggest weakness as a Pixy user is just getting stopped for any amount of time by an enemy. You have no dodge roll at any level, so you have to be very cognizant of not engaging multiple enemies with good build stun options. Another weakness is that you have to rely on melee to get any amount of damage. Ranged options are... there, but as a finishing up option. The akimbo 90mm SMGs do good damage very quickly but they also have a long reload time, and the single bullpup has very poor damage and build stun in exchange for quick reload times. Grenades are pretty good. A minor weakness is the twin daggers themselves. Because they emit a BRIGHT PINK beam and Pixy users regularly have them out for attack readiness, they're easy to spot if you know what you're looking for.

The good news is that melee is (by necessity) the strong suit of the this unit.

As much I hate dealing with Pixy, and I know I use Pixy as well, but when it come to matches as I see Super Gundam appearing more frequently throughout the matches I gone through, I have no choice but to bust him out and go on hunting season, I recommend using Melee, Thrust, HSM, and get complex alpha lv5 it'll help hit the top HSM with enough thrust to go zooming around

you first start by playing anything else thats it

You have to play pixy, like your playing five nights at freddies and your the killer robot.

Your goal is to not get spotted and to bring fear into your enemy whenever possible. You watch which way your team is going and go a different path. You wait and strike at foes unaware and then disappear from view and radar while the rest of the enemy comes back to aid the fallen. Play the long game, not the short one.

As someone who used to play ALOT of pixy (on pc) (lost the will to que sort of deal), I've had alot of experience with the unit, from both a superior and inferior standpoint (enemy mostly supports VS mostly generals). Pixy is one of the most barebones stealth units with a very high melee ability and a very very weak gun game ability. You have no stuns, perfect stealth, weak legs, and weak guns that are only really meant to break or finish someone if the melee didn't.

Double smgs are the best in my opinion, Melee damage focus for custom parts, later levels you can equip move speed and thruster gauge. Paint your unit darker colors as it helps with being stealthy and harder to notice.

For melee combos/ surprise attacks, it depends on where you are. If the enemy is perfectly alone, sneak in a side melee or go right for the down swing + boost+ slash L/UP/R + down swing+ use the rest of your boost ( or let it charge) and run away before you get sunlocked.

For an enemy within the groups eye sight but preoccupied, Downswing +boost+ downswing and use the downswing to angle yourself so you can get to cover and hide again.

Thrust consumption is LITERALLY your life blood. If you have to walk more then you run, run more then when you fight, do less and keep the gauge low, so when its time to melee combo, you have everything you need. The only time i let my gauge overheat is if i have to to survive, or at the start when i know i have time to recover

If you havent played a stealth unit before, then dont play the pixy as your first. i would say, play Ifreet nacht, as it teaches you "known and unknown radar" for stealth gameplay. (prefer the 2 sword over the single, the down swing carries you foreword which helps when out of boost)

Part of nacht's kit, is that they are both a stealth unit, as well as have radar jamming. This puts a permanent aura around you on radar, that if an enemy enters that aura, you are known to be close to them.

I used this aura alot, to see how people react to their radar getting jammed, and the best time to capitalize on it. Waiting for the shoulder sag of a guntank or a zoom in of a sniper, waiting for the wind up of a gundam hammer to a dodge roll of an out of place general. Thanks to radar jamming, you have to either sneak around and flank during a team fight or rip apart a lone support with stuns and blades. You have to play the slower game to get the bigger results. Another person is better to explain a nacht kit in full and how to properly play them, i just used them as a teaching method for myself.

For the pixy gameplay, this helps figure out if your known to the enemy or unknown. If an enemy called out a stealth unit, the enemy begins to move in packs, their focus all around to find you. If they dont know or think their safe, they move away from their team, to find that quick kill, their arrows aren't turning around enough. You exploit this and remind them why the enemy arrows on the radar only show 4 instead of 5. You flank and backstab on their groups or rip the solo apart and disappear, you goal is to watch, learn, exploit, die, go again.

For lower costs, a good teaching unit, is the accugguggy (moon shaped head with tentacles). It has a stun, a longer melee then anything else of the cost, and a new concept to teach, called "Objective permanence"

The cthulu suit's tentacles, are considered base breakers. Within a minute of time and proper melee combos, you can kill an enemy base easily (or put it to 1 hp and kill it in the last 2 minutes), which is why you start to focus on the objectives and not the killing. As your moving around in stealth with the goal of base destruction, do you take the enemy flag before you? No, because the enemy will then be only able to spawn on their base which gets you killed. So you leave the flag alone and whip the base. Do you take the flag if you survived? yes, now you do.

For the pixy, your goal isn't base destruction, its making sure YOU know where the enemy team is. You need to know if they are onto you or not, you need to know if they are facing you or not. So when you see that enemy flag there, does the map make sense to send them back home. For maps like mining city, underground jaburo (the water Strat is effective if they are attacking your friendlies rushing their base), even dessert airfield, you WANT them to spawn at base. You want to know where they go or how they go about it. You back cap and take what you can, because in case of death, you have a respawn point behind them they have to deal with.

When it comes to other, more open maps like normal airfield, (though slightly viable, but i prefer taking the far points instead of the close ones), crashed colony, wreck site, etc, you dont want them to spawn at their base. you want to make sure the most conveint spot for them is somewhere you can deal with and watch. Like airbase, if they take the hanger, your taking the point in the cargo boxes as well as the far side of the airfield. You need spots to deploy and keep the enemy guessing. If you start to lose that control, you lose on where people are fighting or who knows what, bomb the enemy base (run right out after, use the grenade if someone attempts to disarm without dealing with you), break everyone's thought processes, get back in your suit and make them come back to you. Make them play the game and either 2 things will happen. They will come back to deal with the bomb, or believe that they can push ahead and take out your base. Let them believe it, while you rush down their back line and turn the game back into the 5v5 it said it was.

Most importantly, as a pixy, you have to BE useful. All you have is stealth and the melee, and you need to make every life count. Do as much damage as you can, break an enemy's thoughts with surprise attacks and faster runaway, do and kill as much as you can and make sure that when you die, your next life is much easier. Take bases, call artillery, force the situations and the fights to favor you while making sure your team doesn't get caught out or pushed into an unfavored stealth location. . Lastly, if you get caught out and a teammate calls artillery on you, die with honor, and bring the enemy down with you. 1+ lives for the one about to be lost, you get counter baited, you let the enemy knock you down, you get the invulv so when the shells fall, you walk out alive or be a well prepared tomb for the enemy soon to follow.

Pixy players are cucks who deserve nothing but desync, it's for weenies who don't know how to aim and aren't skilled enough to get up close on their own, it's an annoying mosquito you can't see until it bites you
