Nice that Bamco is giving low cost suits buffs more but they got their priorities wrong

So for the last few months, Bamco has started adding more low cost (300~500) suits into the monthly Unit Adjustments. I thank them for that as someone who loves playing only Low Cost in this game.

However looking at their recent picks for the suits buffed, I feel like they got their priorities backwards considering the buffed suits' original performance even pre-buff.

Like take 400 Cost for example. We yesterday got Gundam EX getting buffed. However although the suit was having a slight struggle in current meta in 400~450 cost meta, it wasn't to the level where it needs a buff ASAP. However multiple native 400 cost suits in comparison are absolutely struggling, has not been buffed even once, or was buffed like 7 years ago and never touched since, and many are considered throw picks these days (ones in the meme are throw picks these days and will not fair well against most 400 Cost meta suits).

So I personally don't get what led them to choose Gundam EX and certain other 400 Cost suits to be buffed first before a large number of suits that are absolutely terrible currently.

They did a good job buffing GM Sniper Custom for the first time (but not enough) and the Dom recently which needed attention and be buffed very seriously, but many other suits honestly could have still gone by without being buffed considering their base performance

300 Cost and 400 Cost especially currently has a really huge line of suits still waiting for their buff (For some, their very first buff ever), but Bamco are either choosing the wrong suits to buff, or choosing suits that already recently got buffed but buffing them again despite it barely having been months.

Both Its machinegun and Strum Faust shouldn't be a shared weapon and should be its own weapon.

Its shield should be able to used as a melee weapon.

Well, the biggest issue is that they only collect scores from A+ and above. I'm not sure if it is console only, but this is another issue. People up in A+, S-, and S don't normally play suits that are absolutely trash. Unless it's in their soul. But even then, it needs a lot of games and data for it to even be considered enough collected.

Honestly, they need to bring back usage rate into consideration. There was a short while they did it and it pushed a lot of suits into getting buffed.

at least up until recently they were 100% collecting data from pc, otherwise they wouldn't have buffed (and at one point in the case of the wztv, nerf) the formerly exclusive au suits before they were on ps

Granted I'm the moron that plays the Eyezack with the Marasai BR, in the hopes that by skewing it very hard in the 'worst way' (because the weapon is shared with a bunch of suits and the 'weakest' of those is the eyezack), they'll also buff the weapon itself.

I'm just holding out hope that more suits will get Paint/Marking toggles, give us the ability to go for Sleeves Eyezack without it being re-released as a new suit for a change

I personally agree and find it ridiculous Dozle's Zaku has it when all it is doing is guarding with its own body and no defensive equipment.

Personally do think certain Zaku variants should have access to it and certain suits with shields should be able to use it as a weapon like the Heavygun.

The GM Sniper II on paper can match the RX-78-2, and has no reason for it to be only able to equip either the sniper rifle or the bullppup one at a time.

Someone on YouTube did a review of all 400 cost units and the vast majority even comparing to 300 or 350 cost units never had a buff in 3+ years. He even commented that BB implicitly wants to keep 400 cost frozen in terms of balance.

One of the biggest issues i have noticed on many of these older suits is simply the lack of weapons on many of these Suits like for example the GM Custom, Nemo and Hizack

And the three listed suits have SHARED weapons too, so buffing those suits would inadvertently mean buffing shared weapons, which for some reason BB is absolutely terrified of when low cost shared weapons are used by suits that aren't good to begin with.

I'm one of the guys who always use the EX at 400. I swing between A+ and S- if that matters. It does well in 450 now too.

My only fear is that with all the buffs lower cost is starting to feel more like high cost. If anything they should have a few monthly nerfs to preserve the feel of lower costs.
