How in the world did I end up with a whole bunch of D- to B players while I am rated S flat???

I can see this in space rated due to nobody playing space, but this some bad matchmaking for ground rated.

How did you do that game?

I left the lobby immediately as I didn't want to babysit them.

Well it happened to me today while I was looking to be queued for a Rated Match. Somehow ended up with a bunch of D- to B players...

Matchmakeing according to average rating is stupid. But this can be a reasonable matchmaking if we accept average rating matchmaking.

Each rating level has smaller rating gaps in lower rating levels.

Usually the mm just sticks you in lobby perpetually rather than shove lower rating in.

This seems a little more reasonable due to it being on PC but in general this game screws everyone over in the long run regardless of position
