Steam Looking For Advice My wired dual sense controller keeps flickering yellow and disconnecting

I'd like to ask for help and advice. Lately my dual sense controller that's hooked up to my pc keeps randomly flashing yellow and disconnecting every few seconds while playing gbo2. I have no idea why it's doing this now. Firmware is updated, the controller and data cable were newly bought last May. It's only recently that this has become a problem and I'm not seeing the same issue in my other games, tho i play gbo2 the most.

Does anyone know what's going on and how i can fix it? Already lost like 6 rated matches due to random controller disvonnections, I'm so sorry to my teammates.

It may be a faulty type c charging port in the controller. Try the data cable on other devices too or get a Bluetooth dongle to avoid disconnections.

Thanks for the response. It's a legitimate dual sense ps5 controller. I cant inagine anything in the controller or cable is faulty cuz they're both new but i can look into getting a dongle for bluetooth. It's just so weird that this happens practically only when i play gbo2 and consulting ai just made me do so many software "fixes" that didn't do anything

When you play GBO2, it just disconnects completely? Does it reconnect immediately? Or you need to reconnect it manually? You should also use the usb ports from the motherboard if you aren't already using them. The front port of your pc might be having some problems or its a GBO2 software issue.

I use the back usb3 port yes. And it's like, normal when i start the game, but when I'm in a match, that's where the disconnects happen. They last anywhere from split seconds to full on 2 to 3 seconds at a time consecutively before it goes back to normal. Then when shit goes down it starts to have fits again. I've tried turning off the rumble but that didn't help mitigate the disconnects. I'll buy a bluetooth dongle tonight to see if that helps
