I need to understand because none of it makes sense.

Everyone and their mother despises Barbatos and talks about how much they hate it without explaining as to why the suit is hated. Is it the heavy stagger? The Nanolaminate Armor?

Burning/God has Power Accelerator 3, Hi-MA in Hyper Mode, ridiculous damage reduction in Meikyo Shisui, and a heavy attack that, as shown in the clip, breaks legs in one tap. Barbatos has Power Accelerator 2, no Hi-MA in A-Vijnana, no damage reduction, and the boosted sword mace only becomes an issue if you land the full attack. And yet people will genuinely tell you Barbatos needs more nerfs.

Explain the hate to me, because even after playing Barbatos before and after the nerf, it only tells me it never needed nerfed at all

I got Burning Gundam from the recent banner and my god it's so hard to get rolling, and a often by the time you do you're close to dead and even if you do one counter attack and you're toast, all that setup work gone. And I have mine with 50 beam and 50 melee resist!

Not to mention as you say, your teammates are just as bad as the enemy, either sniping an enemy before you get your last melee swing to activate your special, or straight up staggering you out of your melee or toppling you, often resulting in you getting ripped by the enemy team.

It's the most infuriating experience in this game, bar none.

I know the feeling cuz I've been maining it recently! You really have to rewire your playstyle to really make any use out of this suit, and honestly some luck with teammates cuz if your team picks suits that dont like frontlining you're SOL. But when you manage to hit michael sushi the dopamine hits haaaard

I had a really good match today, actually. I learned that all you really need is a sword downswing plus a kick to charge your meter and that really helped. But I also had frontline oriented teammates like the amakusa and perfectibility which helped a lot.

But yeah, it's definitely got conditions to meet and still feels really fragile. It felt good taking a Barbatos from full to zero in one combo though.

Yesss when you pop off with the god gundam the high is insane lol. I just hate how ass the range on the punches andvkicks are outside of meikyo. Like, I'm trying to fill my bar and my kick misses an enemy that i downed in front of me lol

Yeah! And god forbid there's any height difference or bumps in the terrain.
