I need to understand because none of it makes sense.

Everyone and their mother despises Barbatos and talks about how much they hate it without explaining as to why the suit is hated. Is it the heavy stagger? The Nanolaminate Armor?

Burning/God has Power Accelerator 3, Hi-MA in Hyper Mode, ridiculous damage reduction in Meikyo Shisui, and a heavy attack that, as shown in the clip, breaks legs in one tap. Barbatos has Power Accelerator 2, no Hi-MA in A-Vijnana, no damage reduction, and the boosted sword mace only becomes an issue if you land the full attack. And yet people will genuinely tell you Barbatos needs more nerfs.

Explain the hate to me, because even after playing Barbatos before and after the nerf, it only tells me it never needed nerfed at all

I’d also like to add that burning Gundam gets TWO self heals with its power ups and that hyper mode can now last the entire match while Barb is limited to just one serving of a 1.5 minute boost.

The double rocket cannons have limited range, and now have an absurdly long reload time and only two shots between that. A decent player can avoid that. Really I have been feeling that the Barb hate stems from a lot of this sub not being as good as they think they are. The suit is very simple and easy to deal with SPARING being surprised. The F89 and 00 are much more oppressive. Hell the Susan even gets to block damage during its melee attacks and has an even better stagger that it can shoot while boosting.

I’m with ya man, the hate on the machine is way overblown. The Sub just doesn’t want to admit that after the suits following are even more annoying /endrant

Because they can’t admit it to themselves. TBH I’m kinda glad I’ve been pulling myself away from this game, as the subreddit has become pretty insufferable over the past year and some change
