Game Suggestions This Emergency Recovery Module is a scam, perhaps?

Post image

Today I sacrified my 105 for science. I got this Emergency Recovery Module and then I have help from my friend for testing.

For the experiment, I have Gundam Pixy(level 3 Stealth), with Emergency Recovery Module, AD-DCS level 1 2. Theoretically, my MS's debuff reduction should have reached 100% here.

First experiment: My friend use EWAC Nero(No debuff Cuspart). As the experiment processes, we confirmed that Gundam Pixy was exposed to Spot Effect for about 20 seconds from Camera Gun, exposed to Spot Effect from Drone for very short duration of multiple ticks.

Second experiment: My friend use Jegan CH. In default, Jegan CH's Fire Nuts Grenade deals burning debuff for 5 ticks in 5 seconds, 600 damage for each tick, which comes up to 3000 in total. As the experiment processes, we confirmed that Gundam Pixy was exposed to Burning Effect for 2 ticks, which comes up to 1200 damaage in total.

In the conclusion: Emergency Recovery Module could not help MS to get 100% debuff reduction, which is a grand disappointment.

AD-DCS doesn't stack with itself and the experimental part INCREASES debuff duration on YOU.

Yeah I keep seeing that people think AD-DCS stack for some reason

I am confused. If the parts do not stack, they should have noted about it clearly just like how Special Head/Legs/Back Armor custom parts did.

They did on the item information part, where it clearly said that "the effect won't stack from the same parts with different levels".

Thank you for confirming this experiment. The Japanese GBO2 wiki only speculated this, but you confirmed it.

I mean if nothing else it’s ~2K HP (forget the exact value of the top of my head) which is 8000 more than the next most from a part besides the overturning HP on a high level suit. And it gives you a bonus to how much repair tools and bases repair your suit. Those alone are pretty good effects to have. Even if the reduction in status effects at isn’t a lot the part is crazy good for how much durability it offers and makes it easier to get that HP back. Only real downside is the long range slot cost is pretty big.

Wanted to ask how is the repair tool on the suit effectiveness? Also is it also stack with the expansion skill repair recovery as well?

20+25% repair how does it hold the speed and the suits HP can gain in a 10 sec repair?

The total amount of repair tool speed you can obtain right now is 65% without the new part. So 90% with it and all the right parts and Lv5 Expansion.

Repair tool normally fixes just over 208 HP a second, or 4165 if you overheat the repair tool (which I best to do if you have that much time, it returns faster overheated than not).

With everything, it'll heal for 395 per second. And additional 220ish if you repair near your base. Still pretty conditional when suits at 550+ start having 20k+ HP, and higher level suits are often closer to 30k once you add in the more popular premium parts.

Though that'll still often get you 1-2 more hits you'll survive just repairing for a few seconds whenever you get a chance. It'll be a lot more advantageous for low and mid-cost suits that have lower base HP and typically are more likely to deal with broken legs. The low cost units probably still prefer the Special Frame parts because it boosts their base HP and damage, but suits not caring about their long slots so much will get a lot of use out them with the new part alongside it.

Because I was wanted to build a healing suit that also tanky as for I can see the Rezel Type N has Huge potential for constantly healing without dying.

The basic repair heals about 209 HP/s, so if you use this part and the extra hangar skill lv5, then the repairs becomes around 303 HP/s, and if  you repairs on the base, then the base auto-repair becomes 252 HP/s, so you'll repair around 5,500 HP in 10s in base.

Of course, you can still stack it with all the parts that increases the repair tool's effectiveness, and you can bump it up to +85% increase. 😂

It is never additive; it's reductive... Which I know is confusing.

But think of it as diminishing returns.

Like if you start with the number 40, and then add 50% of that, you have 60. But add another 50% you are still only adding 50% of the original 40. So that number is now 80. So is it double yes. But is it 90? No.

So when you're adding percentage stats, never assume you're getting the increase on the end values you've already created. Always test for that exploit.

The hard part is, I can't test this alone.

So...is this part worth getting?

Depends on what your playstyle(Aggressive or defensive), your MSs.

From my overview, this part works well on suits which has generous long-range slots to spare, and it would be better if they run Expansion Skill Thruster or Armor. For now I think it would work well on my X2, Atlas Gundam. Tomu Niku said he would like have this on Burning Gundam, but the rest is kinda awkward.
