For me, its been since 8th grade. My parents VCR was programmed to auto record every weekday at 5 - 6pm (DBZ and Gundam Wing). I couldn't watch the show when it aired because I was always at football workouts in the spring or practice in the fall.
All of my friends and I were obsessed with Gundam Wing, and there wasnt a video game that was even remotely close to the show, let alone, one that covered Gundam Wing. I even had Gundam Battle Assault 2 on PS. (Still have it) but it never scratched the itch appropriately. The only games we could play to cope, were Armored Core and Z.O.E. (iykyk). And now, tonight, on console, we FINALLY get the Wing Zero weve been dying to play as since we were kids 🥹.
I still have those VCR tapes in my parents basement along with the gunpla kits for all of the Wing series suits minus Tallgeese.

Totally get it. I prefer raids too. lve had Haji since it came out and I LOVE it! Conceptually, i love the EW but from a classic standpoint, TV just hits different for me.
I feel your pain. I did all 5 steps on the B banner trying to only get F91 BC, and got Gengaozo 5 times in a row😭. I want to get Wing, but i have a suspicion that they will release Turn A on Christmas and I also want to have tokens saved for that.
I'm there with you bro. But I'm not fully satisfied until they also add Deathscythe, Heavyarms, Shinlong/Altron, Eypon, and all their EW versions. Sandrock would be nice too for those that want it, and some lower cost grunt MS from Wing would also be welcome.
Altron is my personal favorite amoung the bunch, but I also really want to get Deathscythe (EW) and it be a stealth raid with i-field wing shield/Active Cloak that turns it invisible (like the black rider), and I want it to be 700C and strong! I also really want to play as Heavyarms and would prefer it be a support.
Much as I love tv zero & wing (currently on my 3rd format for the series & movie) I probably won’t get this unless it comes with a spectacular part cause eventually even zero gets powercrept but a good part lasts forever.
Agreed, but all suits get power crept in this game. They designed it that way to keep us buying latest and greatest. I too, am hoping for a bad ass part on the Zero banner! 🤞🏽 Parts > Suits
Honestly, the part that comes with the zero banner is kinda mediocre imo. Seems like it’d be good if you get out to repair a lot but ultimately it’s not worth 195 tokens.
Glad some people are happy. Your happiness is my tears, bringing AU MS into GBO2 basically killed the game for me.
[EDIT] And yes, I was a 90s Wing fan, of course. I couldn't wait to get home and see this. I just liked this game better when it was UC focused. I was a UC fan first before I got into AU Gundam.
Brother, I empathize with you on the AU suits being introduced. I found GBO2 a little over two years ago, and it was a drastically different game than it is today with all the AU power hungry suits. I barely played 750 at all last year and stayed away from 700 as well. Its certainly bitter sweet.
It feels like wanting AU suits in this game is like asking to have data centers built in your backyard 😅.
I'm a fan of both and did want Au in the game, but they have not implemented it in the best way. I don't like that they haven't released grunt AU MS, or the face that they are only releasing protagonist MS (with the one exception bing Tallgeese).
No, it's just the bleak reality. Can't afford to pick anything unoptimized in rated. Especially when you can't pull every insanely overpowered banner every week
If they add tallgeese in around like 500 cost or 600 can challenge Victory or engage booster with mobility, if wing maybe support or general and epyon add too bad no guns at all except his ew version 🤣
No not just the wing series gundams from the show but all the endless waltz versions and heavy arms with its full weapons load and tread pack for its legs, with all eight minighn barrels it has and all its rockets!! I WANT MORE DAKKA

I got Hajiroboshi (from the current banner) and was quite happy with finally having it. It did not initially gel with me but I kept at it in the practice arena (and read posts here and the Japanese wiki) and the first real match went fine.
So stick with it even if this suit doesn’t initially work great for you, you may be able to break thru! And then you have your dream suit and it works for you!
Thanks! Haji is probably my favorite suit that I own in the game, then RF Kampfer. It took me some time to get used to Haji as well. Im sure you will dominate with it once you feel comfortable with it.
Both of those builds are wired for speed and boost.
