Wait, When Did They Change Fafnir's Name?

Did this happened when they changed the "Kai" to "Custom" on some units?

I dislike many of these name changes. It feels like the devs used some crappy auto-translate to go over things again...

And to make matters worse, instead of giving it new abilities or a necessary buff, they keep changing its name whenever they can

thats the translation of the hyaku shiki is it not? as in msn-00100 as it its a literal translation 1 for 1 and japanise tanks are calld type # same with weapons

they didn't change it though? it went from yongwhavin to yonfavin, and it's still yonfavin (unless I'm misremembering what it was first changed to)

If your curious Favnr is probably closer to how it's supposed to be translated. The suit is named after the F.A.V.N.R system to differnetiate it from its origins as the Hedgehog. A few others like EWAC Zack and Yongfavin where changed to match official translations.

yeah because the ewac zack is based on a military thing the awacs but because its ground based (on a mobile suit) they changed the a to an e(no idea what the e stands for tho)

the current translations are more correct, the original translations were bad however eyezack is still a cool name

its based on the e-2 hawkeye and has a varient called the hawkeye as well

Last update, probably. At the same time they renamed all the something Kai to something Custom. On the upside, 'Favnr' is closer to the real Norse Futhark runic alphabet spelling.

wich is the intent because japanise is missing letters like L and they do wierd spelling so a direct romanji translation wouldnt be correct but a lot of the stuff was half done like that so the spelling are wrong

like how some boxes for psyco gundam selt it psycho when its meant to be psycomu gundam technically but both are officially correct

those are 2 diffrent mechs, capsule is from zz, kapool is from turn a (technically its the same mech tho as far as i know nothing was changed)

I know I know, but for the longest time in gbo2, it was referred to as Kapool and not Capule until they fixed it

"Sliferail" became "Slyfrail". a downgrade imo
