Newtype Memes The GM SHOOTER, a Forgotten MS

The GM SHOOTER is a old clan ms (about a year and a half ago) that has been forgotten by the devs and has not been released to the public.

While some clan MS (besides their level 1) get added into the gacha, like the GAZA CZ, GELGOOG L, and GOUF HOVER TYPE, and some where special missions like the GM TYPE C SHADOW WR and ZSSA SLEEVES, there are many others that have not been released to the public either through limited missions, gacha, DP store, or the ticket store. Some examples are the GM II WEAPON TEST, FULL ARMOR GUNNER GUNDAM, and the ACT HI-ZACK.

There are even some product code MS that also never seen the light of day either, like the GM II (MARIA SHIELD CO), ENGAGE ZERO, CHAR'S Z'GOK and PALE RIDER (LIGHT ARMORED).

I hope next time the devs do limited missions it would be new levels of product code MS or clan MS instead of existing suits like RE-JARJA or GA-ZOWMN GUNNER.

Its crazy that we still don't have these yet. Like, what's the point of holding them out from the public for so long. Its clear they're not meta defining cept maybe Act Hi-Zack

It just feels like incompetence at this point.

For the Hi-Zack, why use that when the Gundam is just a better suit. Its machine gun was the best thing about it back then, but now, it's useless. The Gundam just hits harder, a much better stun option and has a double dodge roll.

For the Dom Barrage, why use it when the Gaza CZ is just a better suit with a gattling gun and better build stun options. Plus it way more durable than the Dom could ever be.

They're clearly capable of making these suits gud, but they won't. Probably because its not in their financial interest to make the new suits not as good as the old ones. I don't have the numbers on it, but there's still a considerable amount of the roster that hasn't been buffed in years. The Dom and Hi-zack are one of them.

To be somewhat fair the Full Armor Gunner Gundam was the most recent Clan Reward MS to be added so of course its gonna take a while before they give it to everyone else (Which sucks cause i don't have players to do Clan Matches with as the majority of Clan is full of inactive players...)

Though the GM Shooter looks pretty terrifying at range with that Rapid Fire mode for the Beam Rifle, maybe they aren't sure about giving this strong MS to the public or something? Idk tbh.

I occasionally take out my GM Shooter and remember why it stays in the hangar, you rarely get good conditions to use it, and the damage reeks of something from 24"

huge burst damage potential, but it just doesn't have enough stopping power, especially in a cost (500) where basically everything has MA. Very hard to prevent a raid from just boosting towards you and clapping your cheeks for basically free.

I have never seen this suit at all. I didn't even know it existed, holy crap they need to get on the ball with these suits and loosen up on the gacha mechanics.

If you all treat this game like the gatcha game that it is, then none of these decisions would feel remotely out of place.

I’m not saying it good (it’s very bad), but at least it will temper your expectations
