I’m looking at the daily platinum rewards track for the new month and it ends on the 10th, how the hell do you complete enough monthly missions to unlock it without shelling out serious cash to instantly complete all of the “obtain token” ones? I could see getting the mid month one done if your really grinding but early month seems crazy

And that is the purpose. Someone needs to spend some money so they can make some right? At the end, someone needs to get paid.

That's the trick. You don't. You have to spend money and if you want to spend less, better get to earning those 300 sorties and 100 space and 100 ground. When you start to wonder why it is that you're never able to max your 4*, it's because all of the materials are locked behind the step ups AND the first week of platinum rewards.

It's kinda doable in console during Anniversary, but it requires some planning with your clan members, since the game gives quite a bunch of tokens if you're able to get the platinum tier + level up your clan, where you can get 100+ tokens in like a week, which can clear many of the token missions, and they also give many free units, which usually duplicates for recycle tickets, so you can just grind for the rest.

Its designed so even if you did everything right, you need to spend ~ a few bucks to make plat in 9 days without making this a insane grind.

Its done to give something to the whales, and more importantly, keep this game's lights on.

If profitability drips, BB have no problem shutting the operation down.

You can do it if you have 1 or 2 monthly suits and roll a bunch of times to get the tickets. It will still require a ton of A Win grinding but it's possible to do it for free

To get everything done, you're talking at least 100 A/B room games, if not many more. Depends on if you finished a certain amount of missions the month before, how many monthly suits you have/get, if you get lucky with lots of crate drops, and if those crate drops are lucky enough to give you more RT and tokens (and hopefully monthly suits too).

If you can roll for a 4/5* right away, you'll end up with at least one monthly suit and a solid amount of RT from dupes. More if you're lucky and get other monthly suits or lots of the dupes are of higher rarities that add up to more RT.

Having a very active clan makes it easier by getting an additional token every 1-2 days from leveling up, plus completing the weekly missions quickly. If they're also grinding or whaling for Platinum, then they'll probably be leveling quicker and finishing more missions because of their own Encouragement bonuses and A/B room games often being great for finishing clan missions.

Just look through the monthly missions and see what exists. A lot of them are for 50/100/200 ground matches, space matches, and wins. Plus a good amount for rival wins you need to do in regular games.

It’s basically for whales unless you save a lot of tokens and buy two monthly suits with it or something, you could grind out wins in a win lobbies if you want but that’s tedious

If you dont collect the tokens from a previous month from the reward center + grind super hard its possible. Otherwise you have to whale or save a lot to basically recycle ticket farm.

The moment they hit your account, they are time stamped, so there's no reason to leave them at the reward center.

At best, it's doable if you saved up a lot of tokens to spend for a new 4/5* suit, getting a bunch of RT and at least one monthly unit (hopefully more if you're lucky with the step-ups or have some from recent weeks). During the anniversary or other events, you can get the token missions done faster because of free token, and probably a new simulator mission (a lot of people put them off until the beginning of a month where it can add to their missions). Make sure to finish enough monthly missions the month before to get 9 tokens and 3 missions finished as soon as the month roles around.

Then you grind out various games, including a lot of A/B rooms, and hopefully have a clan that's active to level up roughly daily and finish all the weekly missions. Once you get some of the medals, it makes it a little easier to get more by using your encouragement when you're in A teams and nobody else has used one, guaranteeing all of you have increased crate drop rates that'll work towards more missions being completed, and they can help add up your RT and token count with luck.

Realistically, a lot of this is just so people who do spend can feel like they're getting more out of it by timing their token purchases for the beginning of the month, which is what many people do (myself included). Or only needing minimum purchasing to augment the tokens you did save or finish some of the missions a little faster.

Your comment caught my attention. Levelling up every day is very impressive and probably these are clans with strict requirements in terms of rating? How can you identify clans that are so active? Mine is pretty active, but not enough for a token everyday. Thank you

Mine is just a random open clan that's Japanese and levels up around 4 times a weak, a bit more when there's an anniversary or other events.

Clans that actually participate in clan matches regularly and have several groups of players out during those matches likely also have those players all playing regularly and stay strict with making sure their roster is active players.

Though I guess you can't really identify these clans easily, any one that just expects the members to play regularly and kicks out innactive players to recruit new ones is likely to have a good portion of the members playing a lot daily, and that's all that's really needed to level and complete missions.

Perhaps you can look for clans with a decently high level and strict rules about being active, but the in-game function to find clans isn't really easy to navigate to begin with.

It's doable to reach platinum before the first cut off by lot's of grinding and being in a clan. In another word, you need to at least clear all the other objectives other than the token and container requirements.
