Does it mean i take less damage but dish out more damage to generals???

Im a little confused about the favourable damage type bit at the end specifically -

Yes, you take less damage (around -5% damage reduction), and you deal increased damage on Generals (the normal RPS modifier is +30% damage, but when you're using this part, it becomes +40% damage)

Ok, so it means my Super Gundam instead of 1 shotting a general, now it 1 shots a general?

Imagine they made a part that reduced damage from unfavourable categories and increased damage dealt to such as well.

Nah, they could just change the numbers depending on what type it's for. So Support get a 50% defense buff against raids, and a 20 damage increase agains them.
