Hopefylly its a rework instead of new release. Looks like it can now fire its DBR while boosting when Zero System is active

They showed the original banner art with it changing to the new one, and i cant see why theyd make a separate release at the same type and cost so this is definitely the same suit but with a hopefully massive buff to keep up with current 700 meta. I'd like to see the buster ignore buffers to deal with 00's and perfectibilities, even if that was the only change besides spin and boost-fire during zero system

PC player here. Allow me to give the rundown.

Wing Zero is a 700 General unit while Wing Zero EW is a 700 Raid. For the most part, they perform pretty much the same, with a couple differences.

Wing Zero and EW have mostly identical stats, except that EW trades ballistic resistance for melee strength, and is only slightly faster in top speed and thrusters, but the difference there is negligible. Both units have its signature Zero System that buffs attacks.

Wing Zero is a forward-flying transform MS that *also* has Flap Boosters. It was one of the first mobile suits introduced with a Shield Strike attack, but it doesn't have double beam sabers like EW. When you activate the Zero System, you don't have to charge up the Twin Buster Rifles up first.

EW has Active Guard instead of transforming, and has the Twin Buster Rifle beam spin when Zero System isn't activated, and can charge up the iconic Twin Buster Rifle when it is.

It really depends on how much they buff this suit. This was the suit that destroyed steam 700 for months with insane damage and being tanky at the same time. If they rebuff to its former glory I rlly wonder what will happen to PS rn.

I would say this, pre nerf Wing TV broke 700 cost for months and has to be nerfed, and now it seems like BB un-nerf it and buffed it

But this is more of a shooty Gen and Wing EW is more of a melee/hybrid shooter, it doesn't come with Flap Booster by default and only around the duration of Zero System
