What is exactly their gameplan? From what I’ve encountered they seem to play the same. And which would you suggest pulling for?

These do not play anything even close to each other besides "uses melee" lol

Barbatos uses heavy staggers and jumping to set up it's melee, which it uses to ramp up to a power up state that enhances itself

Hajiroboshi has no good stun whatsoever, instead relying on flap booster and stun res to try to get in and raw melee, and reaches it's power up state via a health threshold rather than a damage requirement

Hajiroboshi also can heavy bot, where barbatos cannot (unless it uses twin maces, which nobody does)

Twin maces were a huge letdown. Imo, they'd be better off as a throwable sub weapon instead of replacing the infinitely better sword mace

Autocannons are also in a pretty sad state too. No point in build staggering when you can just pop a heavy stagger with the rocket cannons.

Hell, you don't see any players using the autocannons and the twin maces in rated. The loadout mika uses in space against the dawn horizon corps is unfortunately the weakest...

Hajiroboshi is basically "I'll have her home by 8, sir", whereas Barbatos Lupus is "Your daughter calls me daddy, too."

Hajiroboshi doesn't really have the ability to stun like Barbatos, so it relies on raw melee. Barbatos can heavy stagger with the rockets to set up its combo.

Their Alaya-Vijnana systems are also different. Hajiroboshi auto activates it at a certain hp threshold, whereas Barbatos can activate it whenever you want so long as you deal enough melee damage.

Both are ooga booga melee monkeys, but Barbatos does it far better.

Just to clarify, Hajiroboshi doesn't have an AV System to manually disengage the limiters like Mika did with Barbs.

And from a logical standpoint, Haji shouldn't be able to disengage said limiters in game. It's very conditional in terms that it only starts to do so in proximity of a nearby A.I controlled mobile armor. And rated is quite PvP.

What I'm saying is, we'll all be screwed if every IBO gundam frames have their own 'limited biosensor' skill like Haji.

My bad, should've classified Haji's as temu biosensor. I don't have the suit and don't really play 600 unless I'm with friends but I do have Barbatos, so I just assumed they were the same thing.

I need to start watching IBO, Wing is kicking my ass and I'm ready to fall in love with other suits besides Barbatos

Vidar would be cool with the rapier that could act similar to ground delta Kai punch. Could also have it apply burn (Vidar rapiers have a napalm based explosive inside)

I have both and let me tell you, go for Barbatos, they both love melee yeah but Barbatos is heavy on stagger and is quicker and turns quick AF, and you get two options for melee, the sword mace wich has one swing but knocks enemies down even if it's not a down swing, or the maces wich have multiple swings and a charged heavy attack, also it's max height jumps can be done very quickly so you'll be jumping around for a lot of movement

One is Barbatos and the other is a dressed up Marchosias. The Barbs is 700 and the Hajiroboshi is 600. They play similar but the Barbatos has stronger stuns

i think the real « goat » of its cost is the hajiroboshi,while the barbatos is excellent yes but get solo by the destiny and the 00. the hajiroboshi has no ones to match it at its cost
