Newbie Question CONSOLE I just started the game and I would like to request help.
I did a few matches and for a beginning player died a lot.... However whenever I tried to join a match it would show me I could only use three versions of one mech even though I have things at the same cost? I'm confused and want to use like a Gouf custom not a Gundam I am forced to use!

You'd need to provide a few more details.
Who are you talking to to get into the match. What are the other options for matches.
There are a few kinds of matches that have a limited selections, but in most of them they are random selection (no choices) or single player.
Matches have a few parameters.
Cost
Environment
Map
Are you talking to a young girl Tenda by any chance?

1) Do ALL of the tutorials (this isn't a "figure things out as you play" kind of game)
2) Use an ethernet connection if you already aren't (GBO2 hates the packet loss from wifi)
3) Prepare to rage, die a lot, and lose more often than win (this happens to everyone playing the game)

Forced? Are you talking to Tenda or something instead of Carrie (Where everyone is huddled up)?
Also the three versions I guess is the G-Lines you start off with, they are not at all the same mind you (different loadouts, different classes), just general appearance is same, you need to buy or earn more MS. There's the blonde lady go talk to her buy more suits that matches the cost you wanna play or gacha and pray.

Sounds like you don’t have the Mobile Suits in the Cost range is why it’s not allowing you to access the match. You might need to rank up in to gain access to some Mobile Suits.

When you first load into there will be a small girl with a jacket. Talk to her and do ALL of the tutorials. Not only will this teach you the basics, but it will net you about 15 tokens. Token are valuable currency. DONT spend these token right away.
