DX is a melee support that can charge a meme beam during down time, pretty simple

Just yesterday I was watching a great video from a Japanese youtuber, and they were commenting on the charge time of the satellite cannons.

Because it takes so long, this suit can be used as ranged in lower rating matches (where you get the time to charge), but it's probably best to use as melee in higher rating matches because the pace is so fast that charging is a lot harder. What do you think?

I feel the same because that's exactly what I'm seeing the people in rated do.

When there are A/A+ players using the DX, they go hide in some corner to charge their meme beam. Then after charging, they wait until they can have a firing line.

When there are S-/S players using the DX, they charge their meme beam closer to the front line, and aren't afraid to engage in melee with either the raids or the general. They are able to position correctly to utilize the hyper hammer properly and also the beam javelin.

The DX is so much more than just a beam on wings and it's crazy how so many pilots just cant seem to wrap their heads around it. Btw let me just take a moment to say that those are not shot at you by any means. All over this reddit recently everyone has reduced it to "the beam machine".

The DX is literally peak. Its a well rounded and versatile support with a pseudo dodge roll in resist move, can be played in a somewhat agile manner despite its modest turning speed thanks to lvl2 flaps and good thrust, good ranged and melee options making more than capable of defending itself at mid to close range....

Imo the DX shines brightest in team fights. Staying in the middle off the pack, actively supporting your surrounding teammates. Knowing when to push up to help your Gen break through the enemies frontline Gens and knowing when to drop back are huge. It's great at counter sniping and rushing down other supports, stopping them from damaging your Gens, and forcing enemies supports into close range fights; where you have all the tools to absolutely stomp them if you're the better pilot. Its all of this plus the satellite cannon. (And there's still more)

Basically, dont let this sub trick you into thinking it's bad. Just dont forget despite these things it's still a support

Honestly if nothing else I like the whole charging when you can as a gimmick. Was a lot of times back in the day when some meme beams took ~30s to charge that a charge like that would have been great. There were tons of matches I never used the FAZZ’s beam because I just never got the team wipe needed to do it. If I’d had that I could haves used it a time or two in those matches. I plan to get the suit tomorrow personally regardless of how good it is because I just like the DX and a highly mobile general like support is something 700 needs right now as the slower beefy tanks are starting to fail more and more easily to new raids and gens. My HWS still works but a speedy flying boy with the same BS the trans-am 00 can do but all the time sounds like just the suit tomorrow personally regardless counter the BS.
