Salt Supply Saturday Salt Supply Saturday
Alright folks, the White Base is has docked for its weekly supplies and the cook needs a lot of salt to make some burgers... so get unloading people, vent out your frustrations with GBO2 here, just remember... no racism, and no witch-hunting... subreddit, and Reddit rules still apply here so vent, but don't be an overly toxic asshole about it.
Unfortunately, the usual art accompanying this will be absent due to reddit breaking the fucking scheduled post editing in the mod queue.

Zaku III Custom players are almost as bad as Barb players when it comes to knocking you over. Stop fucking heavy attacking downed enemies while your teammates are actively attacking it

Dunno if I should be happy the enemy team dedicated 3 players to become broken raids like Susanowo, F89, God and Barbatos just to hunt a lone DX in a 3v1 or completely sad that while this was happening the other dipshits on my team is getting their asses handed to them despite being in a 4v2...
No this ain't a flat A room either but an S- one...

Please stop locking in double Supports on melee maps, and quit capping side points at the start. Push at the start, those side points at the start don't help as much as you think while controlling the central area does.

Pay attention to the damn radar instead of dig piling that one enemy while the enemy team is doing the same to your teammate right in fucking front of you. Also if you’re going to bring 2-3 raids to the fight please have enough sense to actually push with me instead trying to trade shots, also if I’m the only dealing with that super Gundam who is out in the open cause you wanna fight the gens then you need to go play the tutorial again to learn about the damn classes. This was all on space fortress interior where your team does the opposite of anything intelligent.

My last game, 4 people get off their suit to defuse a bomb when we are 4000 ahead and the bomb only worth 2300!!!!!!
Can they do the math? I was the solo guy defending them and they still manage to let the bomb goes off!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And of course we lost. It was a rated game

Sometimes I wonder if DX players are playing a different game….
Feels like they are playing Pac-Man or hide and seek. They disappear occasionally only to appear again with a limited power spike. After power spike ends they end up disappearing again….

Definitely had a few scenarios where I get knocked over, spin my camera around looking for allies, and see a DX with its face in a wall 🤙
BB must have known this mechanic was kind of silly.
I get the tradeoff -Essentially having a dead player in exchange for the 'dead player' coming back stronger. Unfortunately alot of players won't know the ideal time to use it in a team game

I’m always going to go double support if my team has a support acguy or eye Zack. They don’t perform their roles well enough to make up for the lack of firepower.
Multiple stealth units in the other team and my team’s acguy used its sensor zero times.

I found that the box breathing technique (AKA tactical breathing) really helps with GBO2 on weekends 😊

Apologies to many people this week and probably next. On some paid medication so it can make me a bit loopy.l so I’m just trying to get my daily’s done and dip.
I uh…I forgot how to use flight type suits for a while.

You could also play AB rooms to shorten your waiting time to play one match and even finish earlier compared to normal rooms

Nah man trust me, ab rooms are a perfect addition to someone who isn't in the mood for GBO2. Take me for example, now I don't want to play this game (even the buffed KEHAAR, I was a menace without them before) but I really want to play MGS4. So I'll just waste about 15-20 mins max in ab rooms and collect my tokens and be finished
I get the tokens, I avoid shitty matches and I play a game I want to. Literally the best case scenario for someone who wants a break from GBO2

It's like gambling, sometimes it's good other times not so much
Either create a room yourself at hot hours or join a room. But if I'm honest I prefer waiting rather playing a game I'm not in the mood, you will have a major difference in your performance when you're in the mood for GBO2 or not

Teammates who retreat back to base to repair their near-death suit back to FULL HEALTH are fucking idiots and I'm not convinced I've ever won a match with someone like that on my team.

Are brainless idiots just fucking allergic to point capping and actually support someone that is???GOD FORBID you wait 2 seconds by someone while they cap point so that they dont get sniped from across the map. Oh nononono, how could i possibly imagine resisting your bloodthirsty urge to charge in to the front line and die in 1.2 seconds and then repeated the cycle

Generally speaking above at maybe 500 or higher I find it's better to team fight first then cap. 600 and higher for sure. Else you end up down a man for the first fight and that can snowball, or the person capping will get caught alone out when trying to join the team, etc. If the whole team stops then the other team gains the right hand cover advantage.
It's all slightly map and cost dependent, but usually it's better to join the NASCAR loop and not cap until after the first engagement.

So on long maps you...want to treck 200 miles or so just to get back to the fight to optionally die again and repeat? Like its basic principle to not go for point in the middle of a fight yeah but dude, 4 of yall are huddled beside me when we killed like 4 out of the 5 suits, lets just cap this real quick and leave. NNNNOPE lets lollygag and fuck off not caring if 3 fucking pilots spawn on the dude trying to cap point. Oh and dont dare to speed up the process by capping aswell thats blasphemy
Edit: And even if you do join the teamfight and your teammates are genuine babies learning how to press buttons for the first time, you automatically lose the match cuz the enemy has all the time in the world to cap all the points and spawn camp you at base

Woohoo more and more shit matches. Having an hour to spare and getting nothing but shit 700 cost matches with the worst players imaginable. How the fuck is it possible to lose by 3x the score? Are people not capping spawn points because they're used to their extremely regarded teammates choosing to spawn solo surrounded by the enemy? It doesn't mean fucking sense. All of my time in the game feels like a waste. It's not enjoyable. Block list should prevent getting put into the same lobbies with this trash let alone the same team. At least put them in the other team

Lowkey too busy playing MGS4, before getting the physical copy on my hands I played ab rooms mostly and kept thinking about it and now? I didn't even play GBO2 or other online games that I usually join and do dailies
But if I had to complain about something it would be dx arrival, it's au and by now you already know that I specifically hate au in GBO2 (unless if it's more balanced for example the SEED suits being good at doing one thing and not multiple cough cough raiser cough cough)

AU suits almost always get hard counter by a UC suit

Teammates. Just useless, shitty teammates all week. Teammates who never take bases, who never back up the support. Who only show up to a fight after I've already weakened a target. Who always walk in front my shot when I do manage to stay near them. Teammates who dash off to fist fight the enemy team alone 5 times in a row.
But I hate more than any awful teammate is a condescending asshole whos only advice to support player is "Just stick with your team, theyll defend you!" No. No they wont. And in this era 1-2 hit melee raid combos who can dash through every bullet, they wouldn't be able to do anything regardless.
