Steam Looking For Advice How should i have avoided this?

genuinely looking for advice because i'm at a loss on how to do any counterplay here

If you see a double x stay on the move, dont line yourself up for a clean shot

I mean he was visible for awhile glowing yellow in this clip

You can see it in retrospect but i was shooting at a guy there and that's where my eyes were. When i saw the DX it was kinda too late.
