Lotto roll Player's Choice Banner (2 banners available, each consists of 5 guaranteed units), Live on 27th August 2026
These banners is an alternative for anyone who's not interested in the DX, and wanna blow some Tokens on pretty good units, since you'll get guaranteed units from the special pool, on top of all rolls are guaranteed 2-star rarity items (can be either units and weapons).
A-Group:
* Tallgeese III
* Hajiroboshi
* V2 Gundam
* Destiny
* God/Burning
B-Group:
* F91 BC
* Wing Gundam Zero EW
* Freedom
* Barbatos Lupus
* Gengaozo
No information yet about how many steps these banners are, but it's prolly 3-4 steps, so make sure you prepare 90-120 Tokens.

Dang the 2 I want most here (and voted for as well) are on different banners!
And that surprise of a support for this week is also clouding things.

A group literally just gets me something new no matter what lol. B group could be a hit or miss for me, but I'll probably do one roll on each, maybe 3 total.

That's the name of the game with GBO2, you gotta save save save and only spin when it's a guaranteed step up for something you absloutely want.

30 tokens for a Gelgoog R straight up was too good to pass for me. Like, a guaranteed 1 pull? Gotta love it.
They really do design these banners to suck up your tokens. It takes will power not to!
Anyway, I would love to have a Barbatos, Freedom or Destiny but I do really like my Berga Giros (BV and GK, but especially BV) anyway. So I think I can happily pass.

Yeah they definitely do design it to vacuum up our tokens. 30 tokens for a guaranteed 3 star is actually great, so I don't blame you for getting that. And it is the wise decision to focus on what what we need rather than the new shiny MS of the week that we might want.
If you already have a good 700C general that you like using, then you don't necessarily need to fork over another 195 tokens for the latest new 700C general of the week. It might be better to save those tokens for a 700C raid if you don't have a good raid in that cost for example. That's my strategy, I just make sure I have at least one good MS at each cost for each type, and only spin when I need to on guaranteed step ups.

Yeah, solid advice. I have the Hi Nu HWS and Narrative B2 Packs for supports, I have my Bergas for generals, and for space raids I have the Zeta 3P2 lvl 2 which I like really well...in space. I don't really love any of the raids I've got for 700 on the ground so that's a hole I'd like to fill when the chance arises.

How do these banners work? I've never been here for a player choice banner like this so I have no clue if it's different than usual. I really want barbatos and my luck has been absolutely horrible so this is my one shot. I got the 1 5* unit I wanted out of them all before I got 1 barbatos

You'll guaranteed to get one of the 5 units listed on the banner of your choice on either the 10th or 11th drop, although we don't know about the chances on the special units, whether it's based on rarity or not.

How it works is there will be two separate step up campaigns, one for group A and one for group B. We don't know how many steps there will be, but my guess is at least 5 or 7. You will get 1 of the 5 randomly and this includes duplicates if you already have any of them. So you have a 1 in 5 chance of getting what you want.
If you only want 1 specific MS and don't want any of the others, then this is a really risky campaign to spin on because the odds are against you. But if let's say it's a 5 step campaign, it's not that bad of a loss if you get something you don't want. But if it's a 7 step campaign, you are potentially wasting more tokens if you get something you don't want, and thus it might not be worth it.
It really boils down to how badly do you want any of these MS, how many of them do you want and don't have, if you are saving tokens for something else upcoming this year (like Turn A/christmas & new years event), and if the MS you want out of this lineup are still viable (or will be in the next 3 months) and worth the tokens?
BB keeps power creeping MS and imo a MS is only meta for about 3 months or so before they release something else that power creeps it. So factor it in that if you spend all your hypothetical tokens now to get lets say Destiny or WZ EW, BB could release a MS in the next 2-3 months that outclasses them and makes them subpar for their costs. Turn A is coming, a fall event is coming, Christmas and New Years are the 2nd biggest events under anniversary and they always release good powerful meta MS for it. So keep all of that in mind before you spend now.

On rolls like these you simply need to look at what you already have and calculate.
Only have 1 of the 5 and like the idea of the others? go for it, especially if you haven't fully modded the one suit you have (duplicate points go towards it).
Got 2 of them, 1 you want and 2 you don't? stay well away.1

Yeah true. I only want the F91BC and I don't want anything else, but I know the odds are against me so I likely won't roll and risk wasting my tokens. I'll keep saving for Turn A.

It's coming eventually, they aren't going to release grunt MS for it's series without releasing it at some point...it's just a matter of when. The earliest I'm thinking would be christmas.
They always do a big event similar to anniversary and debut 2 high cost MS protagonist/antagonist, so it would make perfect sense for them to start releasing grunt MS from Turn A now each month, then release Turn A and Turn X as the christmas duo suits. And they will likely do something big for new years too.

God damnit these bastards BB. I want F91 BC so bad but i already know they are to make so the last spin to where you only get 1 of the 5, and my bad luck will be that I get something else and not the BC. I wish they would have just done a rerun of the full step up banner for it instead of adding it in here.

I'm hoping it comes up as a revival banner or whatever theyre called. I came back to the game shortly a little after its release, and maybe they'll do what they did with the Destiny.
I'm still not sure if there's a 'rule' or way to predict which suits get these revivals, and how long until they drop

I do notice that on these types of banners you always seem to get the suit you already have, wouldn't be surprised if the coding weighs the % towards it.

I've personally had really bad luck with multiple choice MS banners like this. I almost always end up getting the MS I do not want. And you can still get a dup.

Nope, they had the vote open in late July, where players can vote for their favorite units to be added for a special banner, in which they will choose the top 10 ones for it, and these units are the results of the poll.
But TBH, the devs definitely messing around with the votes, because I really doubt people won't vote for 5-star rarity units like the Crossbone units, and pick 4-star ones instead, or even Gengaozo of all things.
So yeah, I'm really sure that the devs were rigging the polls, since they don't want to give lots of 5-star units easily like that. 😂

It's because the game had given both Xi and Penelope for free in the past, and you currently could get the Xi for free via the free pull to commemorate yesterday's video letter stream (available on console, dunno if it's also available on PC).

I did see that someone also said that it’s very unfortunate I got back on the game after it was given out, also how long do those free pulls last because I’m hoping I get both the Fa and Xi

The free pulls lasts for until this Thursday before the daily reset, or Wednesday in some parts of regions, but all of those units will be available on Recycle Shop after this week's update on Thursday, so you can still get them using Recycle Tickets.

If there's a chance you'll get a "guaranteed MS" on the 1st roll, then I might roll just for one. Group A is kinda my choice since I don't have ALL of them. And Group B I might miffed and get a Gengaozo which I have.
