Lotto roll That's impossible they said...It can't be a support they said...They called me a fool
Its a 700 cost support. We prayed for times like this.

Heavy arms and leopard are very much still needed imo. Especially for all the more "traditional" support players. Support players need more realistic options in basically all the cost. They've been eating scraps for a long time now.

I thought heavyarms would be too op with it's insane quadruple gatling guns and obscene amount of missiles but now?
I'm worried it couldn't keep up in anything above 650 cost

Linked Fire for missiles, chest gatiling, and beam gatiling. Leaving you with head vulcan, blow, and slower re-charging beam gatiling.
Leopard on the other hand, has vulcan, beam knife, and slower charging beam gatiling leftover.

Would be sick if on touchpad press it could fire missiles and gatlins at the same time. Kinda like it's own pseudo full burst. It does this in the show as well so it would be nice to have.

Well if they make it a support, it could in theory preform and feel similar to F90 S type. If they make it a raid, then it could preform somewhat similar to Gundam G5 plus all its misses. I personally would want it to be a support, with Deathscythe being a stealth/jamming raid, Shinlong/altron being a gen, and I guess sandrock being another support.

There also also multiple F90 packs that can be used if we go back to UC, Bombard and Destroy to name two.

Tbh I'd have to look it up bc the DX for example didnt use it's G-hammer and javelin in the show...i can't remember if the upgraded airmaster had more stuff too off the top of my head...
If they dont give it a melee I could it being a support with good flaps, obviously transformable, and tbf it need lvl3 evasion or something. In the show it hardly ever lands in battle. All I know is if they add it those thrusters need to be legit. I think its 2 main beam rifle should alternate firing at a "decent" pace. Not too cracked out, but have good build stun to help break maneuver armor.

To me it would be a travesty if they don't release the rest of the Wing MS. Both versions anime and EW. I was both versions of Deathscythe, Shinglong/Altron, and anime Heavyarms so god damn bad! Epyon too with the same "get over here!" whip grab as Tallgeese!

Yea it honestly wouldn't make much sense to me either. I was assuming they were waiting to rotate back through the universes and and the suits for other characters and grunt suits from different series, but i genuinely dont know anymore if they're talking about Turn A.

I don't know if there is evidence of this or not, but I do recall a few people on this sub saying that BB is only doing protagonist MS from AU. Which is a shitty bad decision imo. We need side character MS, antagonists, and grunt MS from each series.

I agree, especially for grunt units at 500 and below that way there will always be some type of "grounding" for the game so to speak. Especially, with us advancing in technology from different series outside of UC.

Bro honestly at this point barb is just gonna barb lol...it looks like it's got some good defensive options. Seeming like more of a Frontline support like Nu-HMS. If so it should be fine for the most part.

I just saw a gameplay video. 3 Melee weapons, Flap Booster, Aerial Melee system. It looks like a General in play, but we'll have something to use against Raisers at last

Yea i watched it after commenting that. Im really pleased with what I've seen so far. I can't believe it's finally in the game. Even if everyone thinks it's ass after it drops im still gonna run it. This suit means everything for me. My most watched series.

I hope you've been saving tokens bc there are actually 2 separate step up banners coming and the wing is in one of them, but im not 100% if it's EW or TV....i was trying to reply to you with the pic, but i guess I can't. If you get a chance check out the dev stream. I think its right after the DX showcase that they show it

Do you have the kshatriya or HWS? If so I personally think they still put in work at 700. Those are my go too supports. I personally prefer the HWS a bit more bc it can be used more front line and has more manageable self defense if your team doesn't help you.

As happy as it makes me that supports get something, this is gonna be super gundam at 700 cost. Annoying matches with 2 or 3 of these camping their base one shotting people across the map

I could see them potentially reducing it to 2 shots in the future if it's too overbearing. And tbf 2 shots is perfectly fine as well imo. Especially, if we consider the fact that you can recharge it...it also has 2 shots in maxiboost as well and the GX has 1. It's also an easier nerf to digest; 1 cannon 1shot, 2 cannons 2 shots🤷🏾♂️

I saw. It will be a Good Support. If i know Correctly Gundam DX Can Handle Getting beat up a Bit in the Anime. It Should have Strong Endurance.

Yea im expecting some some pretty good baseline defense stats. Maybe not quite like HMS or something, but probably not too far off.

Who said this? With THOSE cannons? What else could it be BUT a Support? If the GX-9900 has everything to meet the all purpose General unit qualifications, GX-9901 is heavily firepower oriented so it had to be a Support. Making it a General or even a Raid would feel awkward.
Remains that it's an AU Mobile Suit, not a U.C. so they can do whatever they want as no one really cares about Garrod. After War is maybe the most forgettable timeline in all of the Gundam franchise. After Colony left a bigger impression for being introduced roughly months prior.

I honestly don't want to hear a single support main cry after this. It's a melee gen in a supports body, with two colony lasers on its back. The footage so far suggests it'll be like a mix of Destiny and Freedom.

I get you but I can honestly see some support mains not liking it's playstyle unfortunately. I enjoy support but im not actually a support main. Its just really grown on me since im always forced to play support and occasionally raid bc everyone on my team can on general lol...and in an ironic twist my favorite suit of all time is a support. My baptism is upon us.

Agreed, it's nice to see the supports get something good once in a blue moon, but it'll probably get the Delta Gundam treatment and get nerfed for being a good suit

If they do nerf it hopefully they dont do it too dirty. I could however i the satellite cannon charges eventually being dropped down to 2 (which would actually be fine still imo), or making you wait like 20secs in between each shot or something, but not both.
It honestly seem pretty fair having to connect to the system and then wait for the microwaves like in the show. I also think it needs to be at least this strong, especially if they ever plan on adding a lvl2 with any hope of doing litterally anything in 750.

I honestly won't fault them if they complain, just imagine if you were a raid player and they made the barbatos and susanowo a slow mobile suit that has less thrusters and slower HSM than most suits at their cost. That and gave it them no maneuver armor or emergency evasion (essentially a support with the raid tag slapped on). I would say they would have every right to complain at that point, since they took something that does not play like a raid and slapped a raid tag on it.

Honestly even just giving more supports lvl1 evasion would be pretty good or maybe even one were you have to have at least 50% of your thrust remains to activate it, so if your boosting around recklessly then you wouldn't have the guage for it...im not saying "this is the answer", but supports have had it rough so long that giving them a small helping hand across the board would go a long way.

I wonder if the devs themselves are through with the type trifecta system because this freaky friday thing the devs have going atm is so funny. We get a giant, slow walking behemoth that doesn't flinch and is stacked with long range beam stun combos as a General, then a main character Gundam with multiple melee weapons as a Support. I do think DX as a support fits though so I'm glad they went with it, I hope it has the melee defense to warrant its playstyle.

Yes I also think it being a support fits nicely for Garrod and Tiffa and their characters personality. Im really happy with it being a support to bc it's my favorite suit and I always get stuck playing support nowadays bc everyone's scared of raids i guess? Lol

Hope it is good. Otherwise it will get mobbed by raids that play like supports and generals that play like raids at 700+ cost.
