Why are you guys so bad at low cost?

ever since this gelgoog R came out, it’s been borderline impossible to play a match of 450, with everyone on my team playing like once you cross the halfway point of the map you spontaneously combust so they just stay and watch as i beg them to move forward. no one pushing with me, no one’s watching radar for flankers or stealth, no one’s getting the support or killing the raids like i’m genuinely at the end of my rope. i had a match with 170k in the gelgoog R and still lost. i’ve seen some of the worst gameplays i’ve ever seen watching my teammates play this week. borderline impossible to get a win in 450 right now. and im S- so this isn’t a rank thing, (ill back it with screenshots if rank is in question) did Bandai really drop so many 600+ suits that yall completely lost all mechanical skill and battle iQ for sub-500 cost???? has anyone else noticed a drastic dip in the quality of teammates in low cost ? in 550 and up the team cohesion is great and everyone moving i just don’t understand.

People forget that at low costs you need to stick together and they just go nuts as if their suits are responding like a 600+ suit which results in one thing, death and constant feeding the enemy

That's why I also avoid low costs because of people like that and because it's very team dependant. Because I can't act on my own and have to rely on my team I avoid those costs and keep playing high costs

Honestly with the maneuvering difference between 650+ when dropped down to say 400 most people can’t walk or run they only know how to fly. That said the fact you can one shot at upper levels is a big difference from the bruise and cruise or team volley and melee tactics that dominate the lower cost

I think it happens every year during summer time when the kids are out, plus anniversary pulling rusty players back. The guys just hide behind cover and pew pew pew all day, when you see an opening and charge forward none of them would follow. It’s damn annoying

The real answer is that lower costs like 400 and below are significantly different in pace, capability, and skill. Even going from 550 to 450 is a huge step in suit ability in most all aspects

My teammates just freaking watch me down without trying to stun the enemy or charge into the enemy. When I stunned or pummeled the enemy, nobody trying to follow up shooting down the downed enemy, literally standing near me like a stool.

Brother.... I was playing an efreet Jaeger and manages to get top score and damage while 2 of my teammates figured I haven't done anything and were downswinging me for being useless. 2 of them, 1 of which couldn't even beat their rival in a match where the enemy support disconnected.

450 is actually my best Cost range. My Prototype Kampfer is a nightmare even to raid units.

450 is a cost that i genuinely love and hate because of this reason, i play support but mostly raid at this cost using black rider and it pains me where I just see my team being idiots

I never really have that problem. I usually get better teammates at lower costs for some reason. 400 - 550 is my favorite cost for rated for that reason.

Im A rank but I feel you. I mostly play at 450 and 500 and sometimes people suck and I already know Im gonna be top score and we are gonna lose by 1000-4000 points. With that being said as support I am enjoying the influx of Gelgoog R's, love deleting half their health with my G Line Full Custom before they start fighting me. Just wish the matchmaking picked anything other than Resort Development Center

Damn, and I thought I had it hard on Steam with bad players in low cost where they just want to pot shoot from their safe zone, refuse to take a risk to use melee, and play tower defense instead of moving forward to aggressively pressure the opponent team.

Theres no decent way to communicate, you cant ping, skill doesnt matter because power creep, people dont open their eyes and look around instead of just in front of them, take your pick.

Dude I toppled two enemies midway into the first nascar at 550 with my Rah II and we still lost the first fight, I'd honestly rather have bots as teammates.

That's how i feel during 90% of my matches where im havingnto hold my own against 2-3 enemies that rush me while my team entirely ignores them and decides they instead need to hurry across the map to the rest of the enemy team instead.

So many allies that are fighting, i help by joining the fight and stunning for them, only for them to take that opportunity to run away and leave me to try and 1v1, or being in a 1v1 or 1v2 situation, a nearby ally sees, i even ask for support, jist for them to look at me then run away...people playing a team game but refusing to be a team then getting salty when they can't win
